If this is a legitimate company then they should leave a message or answer when called; this would signify integrity to me. Hanging up when it hits my voicemail indicates that maybe this is an imposter posing as the valid collections agency. If they want me to communicate with them, they need to communicate with me.

Received a call from this Ohio phone number mentioned. , typically I don't answer calls I don't recognize and let it go to voicemail but I answered this one, a man with a deep voice asked if this is (my name) he only asked by my first name not my last. I said no. He then asked again, I said no again. He then said very quickly he'll call back. I asked who it was calling this number and he wouldn't answer me and it took awhile for him to hang up. I know what's on my credit report because I'm in the process of getting a mortgage, I don't have anything in collections.
