This is a collection agency.  From what I know for sure they work with AT&T Wireless (Cingular).  Report them to the Attorney General if (1) they are telling you they are doing something other than debt collecting, (2) continue to call you when you are not the person involved.  STOP these people from getting away with it!

I've gotten calls from this number twice a day every day for the past couple of weeks.  I'm sure it's some bill collector with the wrong number. I get collection calls for some guy I've never heard of periodically and whenever I tell them I don't know the guy, they get all pissy and don't believe me.  Whoever you are, 6147914717, you're barking up the wrong tree because I never have and never will answer the phone when you call.

Received call at 8:30AM, 2/9/2010.  Name said Sol O (or Sol 0).  Didn't know where area code 614 was, so didn't answer.  No message left.  Checking dear old Google brought me here; guess I'm in good company.

It's NCO Financial Systems, a collection agency.  Sallie Mae is one of their biggest accounts.

Yes I have verizon and I do get calls from this number. My general philosophy is that if I don't recognize the number, I don't answer. If it is important, they will leave a message.

This is NCO financial services a collection agency.  I know because I am working with them to settle some of my debts that have accrued since I lost my job in 2008

I just got a call from this number at my work.  It said it was from a cell phone on my caller ID, when I tried to call it back there was a recording saying that it was not a working number.  They called 2x with in 5 min and left no message.  I googled the number and found this.

call repeatedly for person with same last name but each time msg is for diff first name.  answered once (accident) and they asked for person who doesn't live here (or even exist) and would go no further whn advised "no such person at this number"

have reported them repeatedly and still the call come.

Rec'd call on my cell just now.  There is a recorded woman's voice saying, 'please stay on the line for an important message.'   I waited about 10 seconds and the recording repeated; I figured it must be a scam.  And, my time is important, too.  I'm not holding, spending my cell phone minutes, while some bozo runs a recording.

The day I got a new phone number from Verizon I began getting phone calls from this number.

After a second call and my telling them twice that they have the wrong number, I abandon any semblance of civility and curse them out as soon as I see their number on the CallerID display.  It's really quite theraputic and may, in the long run, save someone from a nasty outburst.  I suggest that you utilize this golden opportunity to vent all pent-up emotions on the pond-scum callers from this low-life company.  I even keep a script of specific streams of vitriol near my telephone should the unlucky caller be recognized as having a specific ethnicity.  If they choose to invade my space by calling, I elect to fill their ears with $hit!

I received a call from this number again, today. No voice. No message. This may not be the first contact I've had with them, but this is the first time I researched the number.

they call me too, speak so fast I could not understand, telling that somebody gave my name as references, as a business partner or something like this,  think they are crooks

I have AT&T.

I never answer calls I don't recognize.

They never leave a message.

My iPhone is jailbroken and has a cool app called iBlacklist.  I added them.  Now it just makes a note of it in a call log and my phone never rings when they call.

They call a lot, apparently...

iPhones are awesome, if they are jailbroken....  Otherwise, it's crap!

This number called yesterday, i didnt answer. This morning i answered and a woman speaking incredible fast asking for someone that doesnt live here. So my answer was: im sorry, wrong number.
She says how this call is recorded for legal reasons, do you know where XXXX is?.
... This person does not live here, wrong number!.
she hung up.

Anyway, yes, most likely collectors and going into my block list.

This number just called my phone while i was in the middle of talking to my friend.Im 13 and it called me on my cell phone. I answered and an automatic voice came on and said please do not hang up, someone will be with you in a moment, but i got scared and hung up.

This is a collection agency who specializes in delinquent student loans.
