I think the calls are made by the same people who are in the business of reverse look up service to generate
business and charge people, otherwise anyone spending money on the equipment and employees to run
such a scam would have been out of business a long time ago. Just my observation.

Calling my cell phone and leaves no message.  I do not answer.

There is absolutely NO way to stop these calls. If you answer..it verifies your number to them. If you select the option to be removed from their list, it does NOT remove you from their list. If you let the call go to voicemail, it verifies your number to them. If you call them back, it verifies your number to them. All you can do is curse, and occasionally fill out one of these worthless report and comment forms, just to get a false and temporary feeling of vindication. Just another example how this country is in a downward spiral to h-ll.  Cheerful isn't it?

I have repeatedly asked to be removed and still get these calls. Please handle this.

This scam has been around for years .... and once you make the list.... there is no hope to get off.  We have received hundreds of calls from these scammers.  They tend to spoof the call numbers, and are rude, horrible human beings.  If you talk to them (just to waste their time) .... they will tell you endless lies (told us that they called us, because we carried such a high credit card debt ....and we HAVE never, ever, had ANY credit card debt).   Judging from the way the phone calls come through ... these scammers are associated with a number of different cons ... all designed to separate you from your $$$$.  At this point, the ONLY way to stop them ... is to NEVER answer the phone unless you recognize the # calling (but everyone has to do so, in order for it to work).  There is NOTHING being done to stop these calls, and if we weren't able to block the repeat call numbers, then we would be getting 20 scam calls a day.

There has been an increased frequency of calls from this number...pressing 1 to speak w/ Rep only results in hangup once you say 'Remove me from your call list' - getting extremely frustrated with the lack of respect from these persistent and nonsolicited calls.  How can it be stopped?!?

They don't particularly like it when you ask for their personal cell phone number either...seems they don't want to receive calls like this.

Just received a call from 616-613-2079 this number but no mesage was left.

Have had repeated calls from this number past several weeks, most recently 5 minutes ago. No messages on voice mail, it is a Michigan number, recorded message if you call back. Selected option 1 to talk with rep and you get "we're sorry all reps busy, please leave a message at the tone". They also hang up if you answer on the 3rd ring. Flagrantly violating DO NOT CALL regulations. These guys need to be stopped!

Honestly...are you that stupid to give your card out over the phone to someone who called you, and not the other way around? Perhaps your bank has a $10 card change fee when done before any fraudulent activity occurs, to teach you a lesson about protecting yourself.

Never, ever, EVER, give your card number out over the phone unless you called them and know that they are who they say they are. I can't believe you even gave these people that much information. Your debt must be truly desperate, but this will not help you.

Started receiving calls from this number January 2013.  How do I make them stop?  Yes, the call is about credit card debt.  Press 1 - talk to someone, Press 2 - to remove yourself from their call system, Press 3 - if you wish to make a complaint about their marketing practices.  Well, I've pressed 2 twice and herein lies the problem.  It must do nothing otherwise I would be removed from their call list.

Someone keeps calling from this number.  When I ask to be removed from their calling list, they hang up.  Each time I call the number back and choose the option to speak to customer service.  You only get an option to leave a message.  So, I blow a whistle as the message.  Perhaps they will stop calling this time!

When they called I was asked if I understand what this call was for I simply asked what do you want?  He replied [***] you and hung up

I keep getting calls from these idiots.. I repeatedly ask them to remove my number which results in being hung up on and nothing being done.. So here are some options that may help..

1. Call the DNC Reg 888.382.1222  and make sure ur number is on it..

2. Call the FFC 888.225.5322 and file a complaint..
