They just called and ask if I still was driving a particular car and that they were updating the records for the car service center. After I awnserd they hung up on me.
Vehicle Svc Ctr 616-855-0656 showed up on the Caller ID.
I will report it to the donotcall.gov !!!!!!!

As reported elsewhere in this list this is Vehicle Service Center who really are soliciting and should be reported at donotcall.gov if yiu are on the Do Not Call list as I am.

This number calls constantly. Whenever I answer they don't respond.

Got a call from this number and they left a message saying it was Santa Claus and we had been bad little children.  Creepy.

Received a phone call at 12:21pm July 1, 2011. Caller ID displayed: Vehicle Svc Ctr. The number 616-855-0656 is from Grand Rapids, Michigan (if not spoofed). I live in DC. When I answered, a male voice said the warranty on my car was running out, and I should purchase an extended warranty. I asked which car they were referring to, and he got very upset with a couple of choice words and hung up. Another extended car warranty SCAM! Do Not give them any information!

Got a call today from this number..... I answered and nobody said anything for a while.... then they started speaking in spanish or something and I let 'em go through their spiel and when they got to the end and I still said nothing, they hung up.. I heard if nobody answers these calls they don't have to pay the bill but if you do answer and say nothing or the answering service picks up they have to pay...... I'm giving it a try anyway

I have received two calls from this number and no one answers when I answer. Wish I knew who it was. The caller ID says EPPLETT C. hmm strange!!

I've been called several mornings around 8-8:30 from this number.  They always hang up, but this morning, some female voice just "cackled" & hung up!  I immediately phoned the number back & a recorded male voice said to punch #1 if I wanted my number removed from the calling list.  I immediately did so!

I've had a call from this number 6168550656 did not, but called back, machine answered and asked me if I want to be on their no call list, I thought damn straight

When they called me today and started telling me about a warranty on a 2007 Chrysler that was about to expire I told them they had the wrong number. The guy on the phone then said to me "my bad [***]", and I said excuse me and he said "you heard hoe" and I hung up the phone.

Just received the same call. Kept insisting that I should buy the extended warranty on my 2006 model lesabre. I have never owned a 2006 model car of any kind. Even though i kept telling him that, he kept asking if I still had my 2006 model. When told him I was on the Do Not Call List, his reply was, Yeah I am too, I get sick of those calls. When asked to speak to a supervisor he hung up. I would be leery of pressing #1 to be placed on do not call list. 1. They are required to already have the list BEFORE they call which means they are breaking the law to begin with. 2. They use those that push #1 as a way of verifying that it is a working number they are calling.
    I have reported several to national do not call.gov. Never had heard anything and they keep calling. Reported to Ohio Attorney General's office and they say spoofing is so commonplace that they can do nothing. so the law is basically worthless.

they have called a couple times asking for my name. i said no and they said they will call back and they sure do..every HOUR!! i dont answer, they dont leave a message!! ANNOYING!!!! it pops up on my id epplett c..i answered only once and it was a mexican girl. idk!!

When I answered the phone, I could hear a lot of background noise that I could not understand. After I said hello again, the caller disconnected. This same number comes up as the Vehicle Svc Ctr. I have asked these people to stop calling me and they hang up only to call again.

Man called and asked for my husband.  Told him he was not available, could I help?  He said "No."  I asked who was calling and he hung up.

Seriously, there are people out there that still believe in the tooth fairy?  The donotcall list has always and will always be a sham.  Just buy a phone that you can key in whatever numbers you want to block and give up on donotcall ever working.  Our government is not interested in enforcing this.
