I had this number called me 5 times today, and i finally picked up and its the exact same story as mention above.Should i be worried that they know my information? The lady knew my name and where i live. But before she can transferred me to the "billing department" for my information, i hung up. and i realized, credit card companys don't call u at 9 or 10 at night. its was 7 here in CA then it's probably 9 or 10 in MI, USA (assuming thats michican).  is anyone scared of what other information they might know?

I have been receiving calls from this number for the past month. They call from 8 in the morning until 9 in the evening and often have called six or eight times a day. Since I let numbers I don't know automatically go to voicemail and they've never left a voicemail, I didn't know who they were and what they were calling about until I looked on this site. Now I for sure won't answer calls from this number.

I have been receiving calls from this number, and a 517 number all about this gascard non sense. Only answered once & told the woman off, but they continue to call. They had my address and everything, so obvious a company out there is selling credit card info--havent ordered anything offline in a while so I wonder who it could be?

This is the third number that has been calling my cell phone at least 3 times a day.  They are trying to get Credit card numbers.  Some one needs to put a stop to these types of phone calls.

Today they are using this 616 # yesterday they called me 5 times from 517-933-2016. Same scam crap. I tired to call back yesterday, as my # is registered with the do not call registry, and just got that stupid recording that they are trying to confirm shipment of an order I placed. ( I have not placed any orders...) I have a simple suggestion that I will be using for these numbers from now on until they quit calling...it's called a AIR HORN. You can buy them at the local boating store :) Hoping this will solve my problem, or atleast give me a little satisfaction :)

My caller ID came up with this number and the name "Do Not Answer". Called the cable company and they said anybody can change their  caller ID to anything they want. Doess anybody know who these people are?

I just received a call from the 1-616-980-1153 # = DO NOT ANSWER for the 1st time. Never going to answer thanks to all whom have reported about it.   I am going to inform my family not to answer to them either.       THESE SCAMS  HAVE TO STOP

I just started to recieve calls from this number 616-980-1153 on the date of 4/7/10, but of course I did not answer a phone number I do not know and like many of you I let it go to voice mail. No one left a message and they called me 4 times at 10:57am,1:27pm, 3:24pm, and 4:44pm(est) and my cell phone shows the caller id as different cities in Michigan? The one thing I can think of is that I have used my card for online was a people search engine I had looked up a person to see if the were who they said they were, and paid 0.95 cents for it the number of this company is 1-877-993-6264. Since then they have tried to bill my pre-paid debit card $29.00 and then another charge for $16.95, well luckily there is no money on my card..lol..and they have not tried to bill my card since March 29th and the automated voice response is stating the membership has been cancelled(hence I never signed up for a membership). Believe me I will be continuing to check my card and I think Im also going to give them a call later during their business hours. Thank you god for all of you posting your responses because it has helped figure out exactly where these call are originating from! It shows some people still cares and so not want others to get ripped off.
