Received a call from this number at 9:39 PM. No one calls my cell at that hour unless it's an emergency. Did not recognize; did not answer.

Auto message: "Congratulations on winning your trip to Bahamas!"
I hang up.

This was a scam "participate in a "Surveys for Change" survey and get a free Bermuda cruise" call.

Of course they ignore the Federal Do Not Call list, which certainly tells us something about their business ethics, doesn't it?

Here is a transcript of this "free Bermuda cruise" offer:

[me:] Hello?

[they:] "Congratulations. you've been selected to receive a free cruise to the Bahamas. You heard correctly, it's a cruise to the Bahamas for two people and like most cruises, all the expenses are included. Surveys for Change would like for you to participate in a short survey and at the end of the survey you will be awarded your cruise. Press 1 now to start the survey and receive two complementary cruise tickets. To decline the survey and be removed from our list, press 9."

[message repeated a second time, then they disconnected the call]

I have been receiveing continuing calls from this number and will block.

I got a call from this number. Authomatic message saying that if i answer 3 survey questions i'll get 2 free tickets for cruise to bahamas :)))

Got a call no anwser on the other line then they hung up tryed to call back told me the message box was full

Just received another call from this #.  @ 8:17 p.m.  No message left.  Am on the DNC list.  Very annoying!

This must be a set-up for something. Sounds fishy. Her voice doesn't id her and verizon says her mailbox is full.

Who called me and why?

called and waited than hung up

617-356-2953 called my home phone (showed up as Massachusetts on caller ID, thought it could be a cell-number) said "hello?" 3 times, no answer and they hung up. Won't try to call them back since multiple different scams have been attempted at my number for the past week or so :\

Did not leave message; I'm on the national Do-Not-Call list, which they are ignoring.

Number 617-356-2953 called, and I answered thinking it was a friend. Was an invite to participate in a survey & earn cruise tickets. did not press 1, did not complete survey. Blocked number. I do have a 617 area code number.

Just got called from this number. I said hello twice and then they hung up. I read all these comments... It seems really fishy to me. Maybe some police action should be involved. Especially since it's an area code we all recognize and not an 800 number.
