- PaulI got same [***], (617-826-6123) I think its a Russian telemarketing company. Will block this scam right now, in my phone settings.
- Caller: AT&T
- Mary replies to BetsyThe only reason they say wrong number is because they can tell that you dont speak Russian. I have told them to [***] many times and it hasn't worked.
- Garik A.These people keep calling me, even though I called 4 times and had them take my number off their list. And they said "Your number is now out of our database, you won't be getting any more calls," but I keep getting calls.
- Caller: Pulse Telecom?
- sbI get a call from these people every day. Every once in a while I will pick up and tell them to stop calling, but it doesn't seem to work. Maybe I need to be more persistent.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- OlanaI have been getting calls from this number (617-826-6123) for last two weeks every day, some times a few times a day. In the beginning I answered and they would hang up on me or just didn't say anything. When I called this number the answering mashine gave options to choose English or Russian. Then I remembered that a while ago I used a phone service of company that called themselves BlueTone. I looked up among old paper statments I had from them and indeed the phone number 617-826-6123 was their's. They seemed to target Russian speaking population. They probably get hold of phone numbers of people that have Russian or similar names and call them offering low rates for calling abrod (particular to the countries of former Sovet Union). International connection service they provided was O.K. for some time, the prices where dicent too. The paper statements I received from BlueTone had many discrepancies (like one of my phone numbers was never printed correctly), description of the services I received and charges were somewhat general, it never specify any calling plan I had with them. I should have disconnected from them at that point... Then they started sending me phone bills that said I had to pay for the service even when I haven't used it for two or three months in a row. When I called to inquire about the fees that I was never told about the lady on the other side of the line became irritated and rather abraptly ended the call refusing to connect me with a superviser. I tried to call back and every time coudn't get through. Later I was able to get through to them using my husbands cell phone. This time a different person spoke to me and was very polite. She agreed to disconnect the phone sevice on my request. Some time passed since and now I'm getting these strange calls from their number. I wonder if it is their way to get at the people who refused their services in the past? Seems like a not very professional way....

- tim sI just kept calling back (about 30 times) untill edwardo i think he said his name was stopped hanging up on me, I told him to be a man and listen to what I have to say, that I wasnt going to punch him over the phone, He took my number down and said there will be no more calls, we'll see i guess. so i would just say call them back about 30 times till they stop hanging up and make them take your number down.

I think the company is out of business because there are multiple locations in the Boston area that all give that same message when you call them.
I have contacted the FTC - they are aware that there is a fraud, but can't really do anything to stop it - ArtI also keep getting these calls from this number, I called it back and asked for my preference language, English or Russian. very Interesting. I heard on the news that Russians hacked Chase banking stole emails phone numbers and other personal information, wonder what they are up-to now.
