Calls a couple of times a day and when I answer they hang up.
VERY annoying.

I get calls from this number several times a day. Most of the time, I answer and they hang up. Today, I got a robot call recording they said it was "warning me of preditory lendors" - I press the usual numbers to automatically be removed from the call list (3, 9, 0, etc) when I pressed 1 - I got connected to a live person and I asked them to take me off their call list. He said "yessir, right away" and hung up.

Finally picked up after they dialed my work number 4-5x a day for several days.  Dude on the other announced he was from "Septic Savior" and said their records indicate I am a homeowner with a septic system.  Told them this is a business number and please put me on their do not call list.

Second call! I thought robot calls were illegal! It is some BS
Company about if you have a credit card debt of $5,000.00
or more that it can be wiped off! Yeah Right! This is not legitimate!
DNC & FTC needs to take closer care of numbers that are on
the list! Punishment needs to be extremely high to get these scammers

None of you REALLY think that reporting these scumbags to the Do Not Call List will help do you?  I'm figuring that when you file a complaint to the DNC List they in turn sell your name and number to the telemarketers.  That HAS to be it since it seems to do no good whatsoever to file these complaints.  Has anyone EVER heard of a conviction or fine of these [***] due to a DNC List prosecution?  Bet the answer is no.  The DNC List is just another waste of taxpayer dollars.

I was expecting a phone call,so didn't check the caller ID. I picked up, and a girl says her name, and some other bs.  I asked her to repeat it and she hung up. Hopefully that'll be the last time that they call,( but she did sound kinda cute).

calls 4 or 5 times a day leaves no message

I get these robo calls 2-3 times a day on my cell and home phone.  They always call from a different number so you never know its them. They introduce themselves as Card Holder Services but its apparently a fake name.  I have reported them 50+ times for DNC violations to the federal and state governments.  The federal government told me that they don't have any way of tracking this company down because they spoof numbers.  I would love to meet these people some day!

I did read that some companies in Florida were fined about three to four months ago for doing this tactic.  Ironically, Card Holder Services called me while reading that article.

they have called 2 x within the last hour...I just hold down the pound # button...eventually, the computer will drop me off their calls

First call came at around 3:15pm EDT today (3/12/2013), with a call-back following every fifteen minutes until 4pm. After that, I received a call from this company approximately every five minutes until I finally picked up the phone at 4:30 only to hear... empty air. I picked up the 4:35 call as well, and stayed on the line for 45 seconds, at which point the dial-tone kicked in and I hung up. Finally, at 4:40pm, I answered the phone and was connected to a live person - a young woman by the sound of it. She offered me "credit relief services"; I informed her that her bosses had not done their homework and proceeded to list several things that they could go do instead, none of which are printable here. Once I was done speaking, I hung up. No calls since.

Long story short? Scam artists attempting to prey on the unfortunate. If they target you, just show them you're not scared of them and they'll turn their metaphorical tails and flee.

Get this same phone call several times a day. It doesn't matter to them they called at 8:30 AM but most of the calls come at supper time when the family is at the supper table. They never leave a message but called ID says service message.I also on the Do Not Call List. These telemarketers are a real pain

It is Charter communication trying to peddle their ripoff cable package

This is a scam/telemarketer.

If you have Charter, pick up the phone and at the dial tone type *60 which takes you to the selective call service. Press 2 to add this number, wait for the confirmation, then press 6 to end the call. Blocks this number from calling you in the future. Unfortunately this shows up on my caller ID as Charter, which is probably against some law to do.
