I am on the do not call list.

Got call from 619-582-3399, no voice mail. Based on other messages in this topic, it appears to be Secured Health. I never requested health insurance quotes from any web site, so they must have gotten my number (a Verizon cell phone) from some general list. I've been on national Do Not Call list for years. This is first call from this number -- and minor annoyance for me, but ...

Cell phone or no, it is or should be illegal to call with a false or misleading caller ID (based on other messages in this topic saying people called 619 number and got recording saying number was disconnected or not in service). I have issues with businesses being able to block caller ID at all (hey, hotel guests who don't want the hotel name to show up on caller ID should use a pay phone or their cell phones), but at the very least, using a false number -- or a number that does not accept incoming calls -- should be illegal if it isn't already.

Calls from this number several times. No answer to the answering machine---Did not try to call them.
If this were an important message they could have left a message. This number has called 2x today, and some yesterday.

Got a call two days ago and another just now. I called 1-800-820-3995 and told them that I am on the do not call list and to remove me from their list. She was not rude and removed it without question. I did tell her that I have reported them, though!

Yes, I also keep getting a call from this company. Unknown name on caller I.D. So i call the number back and a recorded message states that The number is no longer in service. Filed a complaint with FCC
I have placed them on the ignore list and blocked them on my phone.  AHA don't you love computer programs that are hooked up to your phone. Its amazing how many calls get filtered.

why do these people call and hang up on you or give you a rude attitude when you answer.  tellemarketers need to leave people alone.

I got someone from the 800 number listed in these blogs and he didn't speak much english. Told me there was no one there with that manager name and kept telling me I had the wrong phone number.

called the 1-800-820-3995  for secured health and spoke with a polite man who assured me my number will be removed from their list.  Let's see what happens.  I did file reports with both the FCC & the Do Not Call registry.
This man said they received the information from an online health questionnaire.

"You people signed up to get quotes on health insurance, etc, and now you are receive all the spam that goes along with then. You probably went to lifeinsurancequotes.com and they sold your information."

First of all, I never give out information on the internet, over the phone or otherwise, and I would suggest everyone else have the same mentality. Second, my insurance for my family is the best in the world so I have no reason to ever even look for health insurance, or any other for that matter. Just like everyone else on this blog (I'm sure) I am registered on the FCC's do not call registry. Bottom line, these fake telemarketers are getting people's information somehow (and I say fake because I've had several "insurance" companies call me and they won't even tell me the name of their company). Please don't assume that everyone gives out their private information willy-nilly. I hold my identity very dear to me and I let no one have any info that would be beneficial to stealing anything from me. Their needs to be not only an investigation into how these fake people get our information but also how they are able to use shadow numbers like the one being described here. (619) 582-3399 is not even a working phone number. So is every other number claiming to be insurance companies that I have received. As for the FCC, either they are too marred up in all the complaints they have been sent or they simply put the complaints website up to make people feel like something is being done. I have been getting these calls for nearly a year now and nothing is being done. I still get them all the time. But, I will say that websites like this one where people are reporting their experiences are great to get the truth out about what's going on. The simple solution is either don't answer the number if you don't recognize it or answer and politely request to be taken off of the list. Their rude and impolite behavior  does not warrant ours.

The company that calls soliciting from 619-582-3399 is a health care broker called Secured Health.  Their phone number is 800-820-3995 and the manager is John Azitto and Allen Calizte.  Ask for Ilene she was polite enough and asked for my number to get it removed.We will see, had 10 calls over the last week.I'm on the do not call registry so the are in violation of those statues filed a complaint there. If you are not registered there Its www.donotcall.gov  if you are take the time to file a complaint.

Do not call the number listed as 800-820-3990  that is a law firm not secured health

many calls---same thing number disconnected recording about health care etc. we are on the do not call list---I'll try to report them.

Immediately called this # back and recording says:  "You have reached a number that is disconnected or no longer in service."

I did some research and found the company is called Secured Health Care Services 120 Roswell Dr
Valdosta, GA 31601 and their number is 229-247-7483. Personally I have reported them to the BBB, my State Consumer Protection Agency and the FTC.
