    I am also sure that it is Portfolio Recovery.  It is for a bill from at least 30 years, or longer, ago.  In the state of Texas, the Statute of Limitations happens to be 4 years.  I guess they do not bother to check any information like that.  They called on our landline and my husband told them that there was no one here by that name when they asked for me.  He hung up the phone and they turned right around and called my cellphone.

    Terry, how long is the SOL on these debts...do you know?  I have all the bills my scumbag ex-husband didn't pay and they are after me but it has been 8 years now.
