They had the never to call on a Sunday morning.  "Steven" said he was "following up" on our phone conversation about remodeling.  I actually swore at him and hung up.

The next time they call me im going to tell them to come and give me an estimate.....But i will send them to the wrong address...you want to waste my time on the phone?? Ok I will waste your time and gas lookinh for me. =)

As a caregiver there are times I am tending to the care of my patient.  With the phone ringing during patient care it may be the doctor returning my call, INSTEAD, it is a telemarketer.    I realize these callers may be out of work for some time and that telemarketing is a last resort for them, HOWEVER, they are taking personal time away from my patients.

This is obviously a spoofed number that may (or may not) be based in the U.S.  If I could figure out how to block numbers on my phone system I would do it.

Is it a fake Caller ID or is it real? Fraud and misrepresentation come to mind when this type of activity is taking place. If you can get a real number, somehow, than it can be linked to a real person or company, who is legally responsible, and subject to complaints from the general public which they serve, or should I say, harass. These people are not so willing to tell you who they are. Please post name of person and name of business if anyone can find out. Once I have this information, I can go after them. The phone company has terms of use, and if they violate phone company policy, they can be be disconnected. If they don't have a valid contractors license, they can be reported and subject to fine, or contractors license can be revoked if they are breaking the terms under which contractors are required to operate. If they are not paying taxes, they can get into serious trouble for that. The problem is, we first need to identify who is the owner, name of person, name of business, and the address the phone number is listed under. Once we find that information, then the complaints can begin to be be filed.

I answered; I said hello, then I heard background noise. After a few seconds they hung up.

Usually my mother answers the phone and she makes it totally clear that she does not do business with telemarketers. They might have notes about our number and if so then they knew not to talk but they should not have even called.

Just got a call. When I answered they crashed my phone. I answered on my extension and that crashed too.

I know who this person is. At least I know who it is whose calling me. He uses fake caller ID's, call forwarding, voice changers, pretexting and mail forwarding, he is an extortionist and a sadist. He hides when he does these things, so you can never know where he is. He has been harassing me and my family for over ten years.

He and his [***] live in Las Vegas. He is so vile, that he raped his own mother to make her look crazy, so he could attempt to take control of her estate.

I have verizon fios digital phone service, and included in the monthly cost(TV, Internet & home phone) I am able to use call blocking. Service allows up to 10 phone #'s that can be placed on the allowed list, since setting it up 30 days ago no more annoying calls. I can actually answer my phone now without checking caller Id.

These people call every day and when I answer, they say nothing.

These people called and asked for anything they can do for your house. Have reported to Do Not Call List.

They just call the answering machine and hang up. I called it back and it said I have reached a number that has been disconnected. I get more calls being on the do not call list than I did before I put myself on the list.

Two guys from Pasadena -"Johnny Martinez" and "Fabricio" according to mug shots I was shown (arrested, and let go, only car impounded) tried to rob my house in July.  I got the license of the car, ( @late 1980'sdark green honda civic  2 door with moon roof CA plate# 6FHA772)  and took photo as they drove away.  idiot La Crescenta Sheriff let them go...they were seen three hours earlier sneaking down the side of a neighbor's house 5 doors down.  not to mention their neighbor was robbed the week before!

Callers claim to be John from Home Improvement or other lies. If you contact them in any way, such as ''Take us off your list'' opt-out online or by dialing 1, 2 or 9 then you are instead validating that a human ear is responding to the Turing Test and placed permanently ON their SUCKERS LIST.

I have now taken to reporting every single call even when they show up on my blocked list.  After telling them to quit calling, they still call.  I get tired of the rude comments and harassment.  Really sick of the foul language.
