Same thing happened to me.  I think this is a recruiter just trying to meet his quota by calling as many people he can in a month.  Totally sucks btw.

Same here, called cell.....within 15 sec, home phone was called.  WTF?!

Here is the remedy. Go to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints and file complaint against this number. FCC takes this very seriously and can even get the man behind bars

I recieved this call around 2:00pm EST from a guy with an Indian accent also, POSING to be employed by a corporate company AppleOne. He verified my name and current employer...scary...asked if i had outside sale exp and then hung up when i said no. I called AppleOne (legit recruiting company) and they said they have a downtown Chicago location, but the ph# for that location did not match this ph# and the solicited call was based out of West IL, where they do not have an office.

HERES HOW TO REPORT AND SHUT IT DOWN: FCC said they do not handle these complaints, although their rep sais it does sound like a scam, so you must call the FTC (Federal Trade) at 1877-382-4357 to report it AND your state attorney (FL is 866-966-7226). The rep said one agency will investigate, one will try to shut it down, and they will make it known to the public that it is a SCAM so people dont fall for it.
LETS REPORT THESE CALLS THE RIGHT WAY!!!!

This person called me and asked  if I was ... , I asked who is this? he hung up. !

This number called asked for me and hung up. As per the other numbers I believe it's a fishing prank.

Called my cell, I answered, man asked my name, said his name (Mark), hung up.

Said they were calling me about a job.

reported this creep to the FCC. He called my home number, then work cell, then home number again and said his name was Mark with Aeroteck and wanted me to confirm my personal email address about a job. I said I wasn't interested and hung up. This occurred on 2/5/14. Heavy Indian accent

caller hung up no comment, appears to be a marketing spam site

3-3-2014 received a call from this number. A foreigner who asked me who I was then hung up on me. I tried calling back several times but they don't answer. I have been looking for a job so I answeredthe call.

Same thing happen to me however he called back 4 times. Seemed to have gotten frustrated when I didn't answer his question. "Is this xxxxx....my response was...may I ask who's calling....he got frustrated and hung up. he the blocked the number and called a few more times a couple of days later. Very very weird!

same thing asked if i was me said yes hung up reported to fcc and ftc

my bank account was hacked into a couple of days ago and depleted. all the money was spent in this area. now i received a phone call from this number.
