Nope.......taking to someone doesn't work.  Asked to be placed on their do not call list.  Was told NO.  One mean mouth girl on the other end.

I got a call today (I have had others in the past!) from this phone number.  When I answered I get a recording saying something about reducing my interest rate on my credit card and press 1 to speak with somebody.  I pressed 1 to tell them to knock off calling but it just went to a busy signal.  This time (for whatever good it does) I will fill in a report on the govt's Do Not Call list.

Caller ID said "Wireless Caller." I was expecting a call from a friend, so I answered thinking it was her.

I heard a recording say, "Please do not hang up. This is a very important message regarding your credit card accounts."

I hung up, since I don't have any credit cards.

another call... different #.  Caller ID said IL and ph #.  Left no message.  Had I been home I would not have answered.

Call ID on phone read ILLINOIS.  Classic recording your credit is good...last chance... final notification, blah, blah, blah.  I pressed 1 and asked the operator to remove my phone number from the data base. They hung up on me.

I've gotten these calls for quite some time now, but I can assure you they are bogus.  I used to work for the Social Security Administration before becoming disabled, and I couldn't agree more about the people at the "do not call list" doing nothing....it's the same way with most government agencies.  If the public only knew half of the nonsense that went on in the govt, there would be rioting in the streets!!

I answered it and it was about some credit card. Ummm I do not own a credit card. I am too young for 1 and secondly I didnt trust this person. they were trying to get information out of me and the person was rude!

My apologies in advance for the (masked) profanity, I wanted to present this as accurately as possible to warm others about the violent threats I received from this caller.

I have gotten calls from this company (whoever they are) every couple of days over the last month or so.  It begins as a robocall, and several times I have clicked through to tell them to take me off their call list.  That has not been effective.  The most recent call I clicked through again to again see what I could accomplish.  The guy started in immediately phishing for personal information so I asked him what company he is from.  

He responds with major attitude and a retort of "You pressed one, right?  Do you want to reduce your credit card bills or what man?"

I say, "You called me buddy, why are you giving me [***]?"

He then says: "I am not giving you [***], I'm gonna kick the [***] out of you."

Me: "Are you kidding me?"

Him: "No white boy, I'm gonna kick the [***] out of you."

Me: "I'll be reporting you to the police." I disconnect call.

I'm not sure how much credence I should give to his threat of violence, but given that he seems to be mentally unstable and I have no idea who this person is, where they are located or what personal  information he has of mine I will be reporting this incident to my local police, and if I can figure out what larger agency I should report to (maybe the FTC?) I will do that as well.

This is recorded message.  It states:  We are calling about your credit card balance.  There is currently no problem with your credit card balance, but dial 9 to speak to a representative to lower your rate or dial 2 to stop these calls.  I have received these calls multiple times and dialed 2 to stop them, but they keep calling.
