No message left, called number no answer, caller ID stated PAI

I answered and they hung up.  I get too many of these interuptions throughout the day.

Just received a call this morning. It is always early morning and through the day.  I am on the do not call list and I have just submitted a complaint with the FCC.  Everyone should do this and maybe we can all get them to stop calling.  Go to FCC.org and file your complaint.Caller: PAI

All my caller ID said was "External Call" - didn't answer, no message left.

The company is a scam selling bogus insurance.  There is an automated message at the number with some stupid sounding backwoods hillbilly answering the call.  SCAM!!

Everyone needs to file a complaint with the FCC.
You ask to be taken off their call list and they hang up on you.
You call back hoping to get someelse to take you off their call list and all you get is a recorded message saying " If you want to be taken off our call list, say remove me from your call list & then say your telephone number".
When you do this a recorded message says "Mailbox Full".
And it's full 24 hours a day-7days a week.

631-247-9463 called my home phone today; caller ID reads Farmingdale NY. They did not leave a message. I am on the do not call list as well.

Another sales call to waste my time

Just got a call from PAI..no one there of course. But the number you can call is 631-247-9463, wonder if they would like a hang up call from all of us. They call our office at least 3 times a week and then hang up when you ask to take a message or no one on the other end of the line when you answer.

Most of these unsolicited calls are "hangup" calls, i.e., you pick up and then you hear a disconnect. I have a theory on this:

Imagine a room with 5 telemarketers working an automated telephone dialing system. The reality is that only 5 live calls can be taken at a given time, BUT the system is dialing hundreds of people during that time. Therefore, when all five people are handling live phone calls, those of us who answer the phone during that time are hung up on. Does that make sense? It's a very efficient way of making sure that those 5 telemarketer employees are ALWAYS ON A LIVE CALL. It's an advantage for them because it's efficient; it's a disadvantage and is RUDE to us because 90 times out of 100 we will pick up the phone only to hear the dial tone from the disconnect.

I don't work in this business; this is just a theory. But it makes sense because the technology is available.

My method of dealing with these calls is to take the call, then immediately hang up. That way I don't have to hear my phone ring 5 times. The person isn't really making the call; they're not deliberately trying to hang up on you. It's the telephone system doing the dialing and disconnecting. I usually look the phone number up online and so far, 100 percent of the time it's a telemarketer or a political tele-nazi wanting me to vote for their candidate, based on other people's remarks in these websites that track phone calls. I also think that some of these phone numbers that show up on caller ID are spoofed; they are not real. So if you attempt to call someone back, you'll almost always fail to reach the caller. That and the likelihood that those 5 telemarketers will almost never be available, since the phone system keeps them busy 100 percent of the time on outbound live calls.

More of the same. A call or two per month with no response when I use the business name in my greeting. We're a non-profit and a Christian ministry, so my guess is they don't feel we're a good fit for whatever they try to push or do (which is good).

The RUDEST employees ever!!  They're trying to sell health insurance.  I called and reported them to the FCC and BBB, and called their corporate office and filed a complaint.

I just got a call on my business line. A male voice said "I'm gonna be a star in the movie" and then hung up. With all these hangups, are they just being paid to annoy people? If so, they are earning their pay.

I am being harassed by an insurance company. They are trying to get me to change my insurance.

I used the Afirewall app on my phone.  Got it off another website.  It ask me after a call whether to dismiss or spam.  I hit spam and thats the last time they ring my phone.  It was a free app.  If you pay $2.99, it will automatically hang up on them, otherwise it goes to voicemail.  Your phone will not ring, but the blocked message will pop up letting you know they tried.  I love it.  It holds hundreds of blocked numbers for calls and text.  I am sick of these calls wasting my time while at work on my cell.

I received a call from this number just now.  No one there.  Called back and waited nearly 30 seconds for it to ring.  It is some kind of insurance company.  There is a message saying that if you are a business and wish to be removed from our calling list please leave a message saying "Please remove me from your calling list" with the phone number of your company and you will be removed immediatly.  GUESS WHAT?  The voice mail box is full.  Go figger.  Why does it seem that I am getting more robo calls, WAR calls, and more advertsing and fishing for business calls than ever now?  I am on the NDNC list and cant seem to make it stop.  If anything it is getting worse!

Who is the company?  Why are they calling me 24 hours a day?  They do not
leave a message or a name..

These pukes call my business daily, interrupting REAL LIVE business transactions, costing our business money. I have asked them over a half dozen times to remove us from their list, yet the continue to call. Then when I demand they identify themselves, THEY get attitude with me. Called them back to complain only to be greeted by a stupid voicemail that suggests you leave your business name and number for removal. Message ends with "Mailbox is full, you cannot leave a message."  What a joke! How many people have to compain to get justice??? We are on the do not call list and I have filed a second complaint with the FCC.
