This guys never stop keep getting calls from them. Picked up the phone said hello no response than a dial tone.

They are calling twice a day every Friday like clockwork to my Huntington home.  Easy enough to tell who it is because it comes up on caller ID as Keyspan-LIPA  631.351.6519.  Any attempts to redial the number results in an irregular busy signal.  Bill is paid, nothing past due, we've had a recent gas meter inspection because our heater developed a leak and we had to have it serviced as well as inspected in order to get the gas back on.  Our gas is through National Grid, though, so I'm not sure why LIPA would be calling about gas pipe couplings as someone suggested earlier, unless LIPA has taken over National Grid.  If they did, I wish they'd unite their billing system b/c paying LIPA online is free but paying National Grid online isn't, though National Grid does come w/ a no stamp necessary envelope to send payment.  

It's annoying that there is no message left on the answering machine and no given way to contact them concerning what they want.  this could go on perpetually since no one answers the phone during the period they are calling.

If anyone can figure out how to stop the calls or prompt them to leave an understandable message, please post.

No answer when phone is picked up. Caller ID says KEYSPAN. I have oil service!

Got that call from K LIPA today 03/14/2013. Last calls in Sept, 2012. Funny thing is I live in North East PA. Last time I owned property on L.I. was 20 years ago, paid LILCO back then. Hope someone in LIPA fixes this problem, DOUBT IT !  Good Luck People.

who is calling me

I get this phone number calling me from time to time, so much so, that I basically recognize the phone number, thinking that its someone that i know... and when I usually answer it, they hang up, without anyone speaking..this last time, (today, 11/21/13) I picked up the phone on the 2nd ring, then they hung up again...I shouldn`t have to tolerate this..i`m really considering changing my service from Verizon to Cablevision, which many of the people whom I work with are advising me to do...

PSG&E let's hope there service is better. LILCO & LIPA NO MORE!!!

Lets hope PSG&E  will be better than LILCO OR LIPA. I have lived in other states & I never had a choice of utility companys. So Long Island no different in the utility company problem

Actually spoke to a man. He was selling used condoms!! Hung up!! How do you stop this?
