It's actually true, but entertaining now!  What I do is….go along with the entire script and say 'yes, in fact I have credit card debt'. Yes, in fact, I pay more than xx% rate. Then they go thru the whole "what would you say your total amt of debt is?"  This is where it gets really funny.  I say "$692,532.22"  Their $7.75 per hour mind goes nuts, they can't even comprehend it lol.  So, since these people work on commission, I've just wasted 10 minutes of their time.  (I work from home with a headset on so it doesn't slow me down a bit, I keep typing my e-mails while I waste their entire day lol)

U can down an app call reverse look up. And even if they have fake number u can find them. And on that app u can chose for them not to call u and it gose to your voice mail.

Received calls from 631-665-8769 for the past several days (which must be this week's spoofed number).  Been receiving these calls for YEARS and have refined my technique.  Rather than asking to be removed like I did the first several months, I now ask them what they think the worst part of prison will be when they get caught.  Feel free to use this, but be prepared for a lot of "yo mamma" statements to be tossed your way.

Scammers phishing for your credit card information.  Spoof different numbers all day long. They call at least once a day.  I'm to the point I reject the calls every time.  If you make the mistake of answering and pressing 1 after the automated message, they WILL continue to call.  Every effort to get them to stop will not work: asking to be removed from the list, telling them you do not have a credit card, asking to speak to a supervisor, asking for a number to call them back.  Any questions you pose will result in them hanging up on you.
