Mom received the call on her phone; did not answer after seeing the Caller ID (connected to her TV service).  Thought it might have been one of the companies with whom I've applied for positions, but the number did not match them.

The "cruise" likely would have been by bus to nearby Rego Park!

I receive several of these type calls every week on my cell phone, always from different area codes, and different numbers.  I never respond.  I called the number back on my office land line and a pre recorded message said it was "Verizon", and the person I was calling was not available.  I hung up.  I keep my cell phone on "silent" for this very reason and punch in an automatic response "do not call this number".  

They just called me... rang three times.  Did not leave a voicemail

Dead air and most likely related to a post on CL for selling item and they requested I register my phone number.  CL sells info to 2nd parties most likely.

Add me to the list of people receiving "cell phone" call from New York.  Guessing its a robo call.

Claims that I had won a trip for 2 and all I had to do was stay on the line for a "short survey".  I hung up.  No clue who the caller was - the recorded message never identified the organization.
The call came from NY, USA.  

Called at 9am on a Saturday. I didn't pick up and no vm was left. Unholy!

We stayed at the Venetian Hotel in Vegas for 3 days & when I made an appointment at the hotel spa for a massage they asked for my cell # because they are a separate business from the hotel. I asked if they keep the number private or if it goes into a database, cuz i dont want to start getting spam calls. They assured me they keep it private. But within 24 hours of giving them my number I suddenly started getting telemarketer calls from all over the place, including this one.
With my iPhone update I can just add them to a block call list & those calls go straight to voicemail now, but it's frustrating because DNC registry doesn't stop them, & companies lie to you to get your contact info for solicitors.

I am on the  federal do not call list. they keep calling. answer their call, listen to their pitch. tell them you are very interested in their product but then ask for a business license number. Tell them you have to ask your spouse, but do want their product. then, set the phone down with them on the line and walk away. If they hang up on you knowing there is a potential sale, the telemarketer making the call will be fired as all calls are recorded on their end. I sat the phone down for 20 minutes, came back and they were still on the line! when i asked for their business license number, they hung up on me. its a $10,000 fine for them if they get caught.

Do not call registration is a bunch of cr4p and telemarketers know that so they proceed to call. I called and talked to a rep there they said that maybe 1% of the complaints/violations actually get investigated. What's the point?

Had a missed call, no voicemail. Considered whether or not it was a telemarketer b/c it has a NY area code but did not call back. Glad I didn't. Don't have time for surveys

They called me three times this morning, no message left. I'm blocking the number.

called my cell number which I do not give out  so did they get it from the do not call list.  Caller ID said new York.  No message left.  Have put them on blocked list.
