Got a call from this number.  Took a few seconds for a man with mideastern accent to come on the line asking for me by my name.  I asked who was calling (without confirming my name) and he gave some name I could not understand and said he was calling me about the auto loan I had applied for.  I said I am not shopping for a car and did not apply for a loan, and that he shouldn't be calling me, since I am on the do not call list.  He promptly hung up without a word.  I am concerned, as are others who have posted here, that someone has used my name and identity to apply for a car loan, or perhaps they are using my name at one of those payday loan places, since some say that is the only place they have applied for a loan recently.  I have not applied for anything in over a year, so am wondering how I ended up in the same marketing demographic as those who did.  Better check my credit report for foul play!!

I too get a phone call from these people on a daily bases, but a philipino women said i could get this cd for $2 and it would help me get grants, but when i gave her my credit card number and everything went through, i never saw that cd. So pretty much they just took my money. And now I get phone calls from them with that middle eastern accent. I just dont answer. My name is on that do not call list for 5yrs but I still get calls from them. Its been a year now and still get called from them

Called my cell twice so far. Does not speak. Noisy.

Caller - middle east accent - said I have been aproved for an auto loan, I told him I have not filled out an auot loan and he argued with me. Is somebody trying but a car in my name?

I just recieved a call from this company and they told me I was approved for an auto loan. I have not applied for any loan and the only information I got from this was they said the company was Auto Loans Network. The people were def middle eastern and constant noise. I am trying how to stop the calls and will post if I do.

jennifer, some middle eastern guy did the same thing to me! Asked where my Husband worked, I am not married but am engaged (To a Marine, Go figure!) haha. He told me that "We" applied for a car loan and he just needed some more info. I told him the exact thing you told your person, Just not word for word. I worked at a car dealership at the time, and was approved through ford credit. (They find your name in databases) Do not believe that someone else is trying to use your identitiy. There was nothing wrong with my credit, Nor had anyone tried to use it. I am however putting this number on anything I can find to get people to harrass them!

This # showed up on my caller I.D. numerous times in the past two days. When I finally answered it, I too, could hear a lot of noise in the background but could not understand what the called was saying - did not speak English too well so I just said I wasn't interested. Today I'm receiving calls from "unknown number" so I picked it up but said nothing but once again, heard that same voice so I hung up.

They've been calling me all day. I've apparently been pre-approved for a loan I didn't ask for. Call the number back and press "1" and it should take you off the calling list.

just got a call from this number too so i googled it because i wanted to know from which state it was....i didn't know the number so i didn't pick it up....is this one of those hoax numbers?

I just got another call (third today) from same people with a different number.  I told him I couldn't understand him.  He was Indian and the phone connection was awful.  I asked him why he kept calling me and he hung up.
When I called the number back it was someone offering a car loan stating first I had been approved for my loan (which I never applied for) and then if not approval, I was eligible for one.  I pressed one to be removed.  We'll see.

I just got my 3rd call from this place today, also getting calls from 849-561-2548, both the same company. Both are spoofed phone numbers on the caller ID. I advised them this last time that I would be filing a report with the FBI as they are attempting international fruad, not to mention its 9:30pm EST right now, which also against the law.

Received a call from 646-290-3929, a middle eastern male voice said my auto loan application was approved did I want to buy a new or used car. Asked where he got the application from, he stated on line a week or two ago. Told him I never applied for an auto loan he said I did. Asked for the email address it came from and was given a yahoo address. I have never had a yahoo email address. Very weird

got that call and the number came up on id answered eastern guy asked if i wanted to get a car loan still and asked what the make and model of my car is the funny thing was i dont have a car or even applied for a loan

My parents received this phone call the day before and as I wasn't home at the time, they offered to take a message.
But he would hang up on them.  This morning he calls again and I was home. He said
his name was Mike somethingorother for and Auto Loan approving agancy.  He confirmed
he was talking to me by asking is this my name.  Then asked "Are you trying to apply for
a car loan or a car sir?" When I said no he acted kind of surprised and asked "You're
not applying for a car loan?" I said right, I'm not applying for a car loan or buying any car.
Said "OK and then hung up.

The guy called me at 1AM calling with regards to my car loan or automobile loan.  I don't own a car...or an automobile.  D-Bag.

He told me I had been approved for a car loan.  I said what car loan I didn't apply for any loan. He then hung up.  I see people are saying about payday loans on here, but I have never done a payday loan or anything like that.  So please do your homework before talking to anyone on the phone.  Lots of people are trying to scam us now of days.  Watch out!!

i just received a call from this number as well.  Caller said my auto loan was just approved and asked if i was still in the market for a car loan.  When I said no and I havent' been in the market and asked how they got my information, they hung up.
