They are affiliated with 314-735-4800.  Employment Select is correct but the 314 number says that it it a scam to enroll you in an online school.

I got a call from the company, who introduced themselves as Employment Select. Said they were verifying my information for a job I had applied for, but they could not tell me who or which and I do not remember applying for any job like this. At the end of the call, they tried to sell me on higher education programs through a variety of schools, for example to get a masters degree. They offered funding help. I'm not sure of them.

Called me at 930 this morning. No message left.  Nothing in my caller ID.  Probably another scam anyways.

F**ing scammers for sure. They are out to make a buck with your info, without guaranteeing you [***]. Don't give them [***]. In times like these, people like them come out of the woodwork to prey on the vulnerable. Don't fall for it. Be smart. Only talk to companies in which you applied for a job through Monster or Career Builder. Don't believe the [***] when they say the found your resume online and need to confirm your info. Legit companies who are hiring simply post the job and wait for the applications to start rolling in. And they will roll in. If your resume stands out, you will be contacted by them personally. Hiring companies nowadays do not have to hire outside recruiting firms (unless it is a very specialized industry or job). A few years ago, they had to hire headhunters, but now, there are 12.5 million people looking for work. Why pay for applicants in these hard times?

Someone from this number called my cell and hung up. My service with Verizon and live in South FL as I long suspected Verizon sells their data base to various tele-marketers.

my husband just received a call from this number.  He missed it and called back right away to see who it was and what they wanted.  All they wanted was to verify his phone information.  They also told him to call some number to get info about fin aid to go to school>>> that was kind of fishy... he is wondering if he should call it.  the person said that someone will be calling him in 15 mins. to see if he did make the call...

Just received a call from the same number and missed it as I was out for a second.

I got a call from the same number, missed it and called the number back and it went through fine, they asked me a few questions, and said that the employer will contact me if they want to further the hiring process.

It's fishy.  Any reputable company or person that really needs to get a hold
of you will leave a message.  This phone # never does...

I just received a call from this number stating that they viewed my resume on line. Did not say what web site and that the company wanting to hire was confidential. It was a recorded message, not a live person. Don't waste your time calling back.

I just got a call from this number 646-520-0691 on my cell phione. I did not answer it. Yes I am looking for employment but who are these people? how did they get my cell number and why didnt they leave a message or even call my home phone that is listed on my resumes? WEIRD!!!!

Also got a call from this phone saying I did not complete my job application.  If the company is legit, then it should say this is company so and so.  It didn't.  There are simply too many scams these days targeting job seekers.  So we should be careful about this type of thing.

I recieved a call from these people... they left no message. Upon calling back, it seems to be some screening employment service. Oddly, it comes from a cell phone. Weird for a business to have an answering machine message on a cell phone with available representatives.

Just verifying the position I applied for.. Weird never heard of this and wanted me to verify where I was currently working for?
Said they would pass my informtion on to Hiring department and I would receive a call back.

received call - no voicemail... These company's should get it by now that most people don't answer unknown numbers. Scam? probably, and I think the number 201-298-1708 which I received a call from later on today is connected with this one some how as this doesn't happen often.

I'm thinking this number has to do with an email I received recently.  It was for a forklift operator position on nights - thought it would be a good second job as I have a solid day job - started filling out the information on their website and got to a point where the coding in their site seemed odd/fishy... it was asking for references & emails/phone numbers for them and wasn't letting me go back to edit them - So I started thinking this is a scam just trying to get peoples information.  I'm thinking this number may have to do with this email...

It is company called "employment select" the are a comppany that screens applicants for other companys. Then they ask you about futhering you education.I'm thinking this is how this company makes their money from some kind of student loan or something. It is not required to acept schooling to get the job.

I also wanted to add that I went through the entire process and at no time did they ask for any personal information,they just verified the form you already filled out

I got a call fromt his number but didn't answer becasue I did nto recognize the number. Now I wished I had picked up the phone and see what they had to say.
