Someone told me a trick to use with telemarketers who keep calling. When they call, act very interested and you want to hear more but you have another call coming in (someone at the door, are dealing with a customer and will get right back), then come back on and ask "are you still there? I'll just be another moment"  The longer you keep them on the line the better.
Then when you finally get back to them, ask them "Now what is the MOST important thing to a tele-marketer?"

Their time is money and you just spent theirs.  That might get you off the calling list.

They have been harassing people for more than 2 years now. I get atleast 5 calls a week and no message, and when I answer they just hang up. Is there a way to stop this nuisance?

Got two calls to my business within 15 minutes of each other.  One of them said they were with Crescent processing, 314-627-5503, and the next from Atrium at 646-558-5502.  The  first said they were going to send a package to my business at 2P and want to know if the owner would be there. I asked her how they were going to deliver the package, and she told me her manager was going to be in town and would stop by for 5 minutes.  I said no!

When the second one called, I  told her that I just received a call from them.  She seemed surprised and asked if I had a roll-over line. I said no. I told her to either take me off their list or I would block them.  She told me, quite arrogantly, "That won't work" and hung up.  I have block both of those weasels.

With that attitude, I can't imagine how they think (assuming they think) I would ever buy anything from them.  Be warned, NEVER EVER invite these low-life's to your home or business office.   People like these need to be thrown in jail, for good.

Just got a call from this number as well today! Ask to speak to the owner, I replied that I am the owner and dont reconize this number and what ever you are selling not interested. Take me off your list.  The guy on their end started laughing and thought it was funny!

I've encountered the same problem multiple times now and being that I run my friends business and he isn't here, we've made a little game from this to talk there ear off as an ignorant business owner. Then when we gain their interest ask them to repeat w/e it was that they said, or just put the phone down and walk away for minute as I've told them I'm looking for my credit card or have another call on the other line. Simply, I just want to waste their time or piss somebody at this faulty-bogus company off. I encourage each of you to call and leave profane messages, it'll feel good once you've wasted some of their time and/or hangup on them several times, but don't stop ! Piss those [***] off!!

Very rudy obnoxious JERK, wanted to speak to owner, I asked what this was about, he tried another angle, I asked a question back and he yelled and screamed it was for the owner. Put a block on the number....If you have caller ID, just dont answer it or block the number if you can. Government should allow business' to be on DO NOT CALL LIST. You want to know why Small business' arent hiring? It's because our phone lines are tied up by phone solicitors. THIS MUST STOP!!!

These companies call and keep track of times you answer the phone and who it is answering the phane, then they pass this on to telemarketing companies so they don't waste their time on making random calls. If possible don't answer the call if you have caller id.

Scam artists tried to enter our home into some sort of giveaway. They provided the option to press the number 3 to be removed from their list.  It was all a recorded message, and the message only starts playing when activated by voice or noise on your end.  Do not fall for their tactics. The call is originating from New York, NY and is coming from a mobile phone.  The phone carrier is Peerless Networks of New York, LLC. They are fraudulent and malicious and need to be brought to justice.

I have reported them to the F.B.I., the FTC, and the FCC.

At first, I get a call from (702)-558-5677, which presents 'Opinion Poll' on my caller ID. I activate call rejection against that area code and prefix. Then, I get a call from (646)-558-5677, which also presents 'Opinion Poll' on my caller ID. This means that it is so crystal clear that these are telemarketing hucksters that just want to keep hounding people. They have nothing better to do than intrude into other people's business! They are disgusting! They will NEVER be speaking to me, and I will make it impossible for them to ever reach me, since I have caller ID. I will also be reporting them. These hucksters, scam telemarketers, and fools should GET LOST!

This is Sunday and we have had two calls within an hour of each other, no message, no nothing. Not about to answer and just looked it up here on line.  Thanks people for the info, I hate these calls and now have this number blocked.   And..... Calling on a Sunday---what are they thinking?  Scammers of the first degree!!
