Did anyone experience a call from this number where they had your full verified name?

It was also on my cell phone that has no direct correlation with any accounts that my full name is listed on

They called and said they were from some computer company and that my computer was sending them error messages via the internet. When I told them my computer wasn't plugged in and it was a desktop so it couldn't possibly send them errors, they responded saying when I turn the computer on it sends them errors. Then they wanted me to go to my computer so they could walk me through fixing the errors. I told them I was not near my computer and I was at work considering it is 3:00PM on a Wednesday! So they mentioned calling me back. They are now blocked.

this number has called me 10 times today while at work. They keep saying there is a problem with my computer and I need to give them my password so they can help. THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR  INFORMATION!  Block the number and report them. I am on the  Do not call list

Blocked it.  Knew from accent it was a scam.

Claim to be Microsoft and that I have a computer virus, they CONTINUE to call, ask for a manager and they hang up

If you have Time Warner phone service, you can block ALL anonymous and robo calls for FREE, with just a couple of clicks on their website. Go to the Time Warner website ... select My Account ... then select My Phone (near upper right of page) ... lastly, select Call Privacy (on right side of page). On the first tab you can block ALL anonymous callers. On the second tab tab, you can block ALL robo calls. If you get a call from a person blocking their number or a robo call, your phone will only ring ONCE, then it will disconnect you from the caller. It still lets through my doctors, pharmacies, schools and trusted numbers. I've had this for two months and only one unwanted caller got through and I never missed any important calls. I think I read on the internet that other cable companies also provide this FREE service. This has made our lives stress free when the phone rings. I love it! The service should be offered for FREE by all landline and cell phone companies. Are you listening companies?

I got a call from this number, Johnathan Price was the name that appeared on my phone. Same heavy accent guy, saying that he works for Windows and he is receiving error messages from my computer.  THIS IS A SCAM...... I told him to go to hell and hung up.

Same as everyone... Windows support help desk call scam. They called me a bunch of times. I had blocked them at one point, and they started from a different number.  Everyday like clockwork...a call around 5pm. One day I was feeling ornery, so I took the call and took the scammer for a ride. After 13 minutes following along with  this idiot, agreeing to his points, he gave me a Web address to connect to so he could remote in and "fix" my problems (probably wanted to install some ransomware actually. At this point I told him "nope" over and over again to his demands that he get into my pc urgently to fix it before more damage can be done. He finally realized I had scammed him.  He call me so "bloody mother f@#ker" but stayed on the line... i just laughed at him.  They have not called me back since.  Best waste of 13 minutes ever.

This is the third day I'm getting more than five calls from this person. Leaves no message; when I answered the first time, they hung up! A certain company has to be issuing our number and possibly more personal information. *I sense a class action suit on the horizon*

I have received 10 calls in 3 days. I have requested each time to stop calling he just hangs up on me

Says they are calling me about errors with my Microsoft windows , have called me like 5 times a day for 4 days i finally answered it and told the guy if her ever called my number again I would report him to the authorities

This is an overseas scam that wants to gain access to computers. In some cases they will send people to a website where the tech support telemaggoter will lock the computer and then demand money to remove the lock.

They have called my home 10 times a day all week. I screamed for them to take me off their list, and they called right back!!!

I am getting repeated calls from number 646-588-1663. The "representative" states he is calling from "Windows PCS" and says that I have an "error" on my pc. He asks me to go on my computer and find the "error" and give him the "id". When I started asking a bunch of questions because I doubted his call was legit, he got very rude. Asking me if I am deaf. Asking me why he should give me his company's address and then he started yelling the Lord's name in vain over and over.

Sickened by this, I just hung up.

This company is no doubt trying to access your computer remotely and install viruses or steal personal identity.

Hopefully, they can be stopped. I reported this to donotcall.gov . Hopefully others will too.

So, my mother has been getting these calls and telling me about them. I was sick and stayed home from work today, when we get the call. We answer knowing it's a scam. He starts with "Hello, I'm calling from Windows PCS, we found an error on your PC. I stand there with my face smashed in a pillow, laughing at the indian accent. My mom starts asking questions to waste his time. We ask for a number to call back to, he starts giving us 10 digit phone numbers, and each time we say "What was that? I'm sorry?" he changes the digits. We asked him the address of the place he's calling from he answers in what I thought was in gibberish. We continue messing with him and once again ask for the address. He starts asking "Why should I repeat? are you deaf?" I almost started crying because it was so funny. Then he started saying "Oh my God, Oh my God" and "Jesus Christ oh my God."
My mom said "I'd like to speak to you manager this minute! He kept saying the Lord's name, so I grabbed the phone out of my mother's hand and screamed, "GO BACK TO INDIA, YA FREAK" and immediately hung up, of course, laughing.    XD
So just try to waste most of their time because it's hilarious.

These people are pestering me to death.   They call me at least twice a day. I have told them to take me off their list and that I am on the do not call list and yet they continue to call.  They also have different names that appear on caller id but with the same number, depending on when they call.

I just received a call from this number, my Windows is infected, blah blah blah.  I won't repeat what a screamed at him before I hung up,  but afterwards I blocked the number.  Caller ID was David Ross.

646-588-1663 is a FAKE Windows help desk call.  They're attempting to get access to your computer so they can either down load sensitive data: passwords, bank account access, etc. or place malware on your computer, or hold your computer hostage by downloading a virus or malware and holding the computer hostage until you pay them.

They will attempt to fake you out by repeating your email address - available from hundreds of sources - in an attempt to convince you they have information about your computer.  They don't - tell them you have an Apple computer, or only use a computer at work - and to not call back.

Or, tell them you're looking directly at the computer and the case has no "Vindows" (as they pronounce the word), no doors or other architectural features - then hang up.
