I must've gotten a new hire - when I got to work this morning I had 6 messages from a guy named "David Johnston" , he kept messing up mid sentence and then hanging up and calling right back until he finally got to the call back # I was supposed to call! What a joke- these guys have been trying to get to me for about a year now! Every couple months they show back up with a new number. Don't give these guys any info !! Total scammers....

this guy who calls me named gary thomas stating that i owe payday cash $700 and if i dont pay i will be arrested. Who the hell are these people? I did take out a payday loan but i will not share info with people who cannot speak english or refuse to send me documentation..

They keeping me and I have no clue thinking of calling the police.

They have changed their number 646-525-4064.  Said I owed on the payday loan to payday advanced, maybe I do, but I thought it was paid off.  Anyway, I tried to google and .com payday advance to talke with them directly and could find nothing. Anyway, Chris Miller was the guys name and very thick Indian accent.  Said he worked for the department of crime prevent for PayDay Advance.  Again with the Walmart card and wanted ME to fax a "payment authorization" letter to them.  With my name and Social Security number.  The fax number was 646-607-3355. Has anyone recived a call from this number?

Called saying from Crime Prevention.  Had thick Indian accent, threatened and said I owed money.  I could go to walmart and get a visa card put money on it and give hime that number.  Threatened a law suit.  Would not give me any documentation about this. Called my work and what not.  They need to stop

I just received a cll from a man with a thick indian accent as well stating his name was Gary Thomas and another gentleman by the name of Steve Clark but I know that these are not their real names. I asked for a return phone number and I looked it up on the interned one was a CELL  phone and the other number was a land line. They are saying they are with DEPT OF CRIME. I  have not committed any crimes. They have all my information saying I owe a loan and threating me aswell.  I do not know what is goin on

I think this scammer got hold of my work number when I wasn't careful about which Payday Loan company I gave my contact info to.  I am not in default on any payday loans, and thank God for these caller info pages so I could query on this scammers number.  I reported them to the FTC yesterday, when the scammer called again this morning, I cut him off and told him I reported him to the FTC and the FBI, and that he would be dealing with them.  I hope it works and the calls stop.

Got a phone call from 646-525-4064 ext 7707 by a guy from Crime Prevention saying I owed for a paydayone loan.   The guy's name was Martin Thompson and he was trying to get my credit card info to settle the debt or I could be arrested.  Please be aware this is a scam.  I talked with this guy three times today and finally when I told him I contacted my local police department and attorney he hung up.

I went through this last year and it just started happening again. I got a call from mr. martin thompson. Well, first it was an anonymous call on my cell phone which I rejected b/c I was at work. Then this SOB called me at work. I told him "I will not talk to you about this. I am at work. Do not call me here. And I do not believe a word that you say!" I hung up. He immediately called back and my co-worker who heard me say these thing answered and told him not to call our office anymore and she took his number. While it doesn't show up on my cell phone, the incoming number on my office phone was a 973 number. He left the 646-525-4064 ext 7707 number with my co-worker and on my cell phone message that he left a couple hours later. The next time he calls I will tell him that I am calling the police like many of you have mentioned. I am finally getting myself out of debt and this jerk is trying to scam me back into it. That really pisses me off

I recieved a call from a Martin Thompson from crime prevention in NY calling to collect money from pay day cash and told me i used a un authorized check and i needed to pay them now or else i will go to jail! The scary part is he had my address and other information. I want to report them to authorites but not sure of how to do so. Does any one know who i am to report this to? this has me a bit scared and shaken up.

Martin Thompson called me 3 times last nigth.  told me he had my social and my account number and that he was going to take money and buy a car and new shoes and condoms.  Told me I was in big trouble and they were going to come to my home and my job and arrest me. and within 30 days i would be in Jail.  are these people ever going to stop.  he said some very nasty things to me, made a few threats and told me he would buy condoms with my money.  i hung up as i couldnt take it anymore.  what can i do to stop these monsters from harassing me.

Received a phone call from a Martin Thompson.  Very heavy accent, asked for my co-worker. I told him this person had already left for the day.  He told me "Get pen and take this number down"  in a very demanding voice.  I took number down ..Number (646) 8083555 Ext.  7707  he ended with that this was a very important legal matter.  I hanged up before he could finish and he called back,  telling me to make sure I give this number.  These scammers are something else...
