Received a call from 646-963-2464 asking to speak with CFO who was unavailable. Heard people screaming in the background (real professional); they said they would call back later. I told them to have the people in the background to stop screaming.

Merchant services scam!! After I very rudely tell her where to go, she says she will call everyday until we use their services.  What a total MORON!

Get a VOIP system. Block those numbers

We are supposed to ask for Jordan at this extension!  Maybe Richard is gone from the company :)  Secondly, how do they know you are being overcharged if they've never seen your statement?  This form of solicitation drives me nuts.

Just took the exact call that you all are referring to.  I asked for more information and she explained that she needed to speak with the person who opened credit cards.  I asked her to add me to their "Do Not Contact List" and she hung up on me.  I wonder if she'll add me to that list???  Hmmmmm.

Really tired of receiving these calls day after day.  Anyone interested in a class action lawsuit?

Same story here "don't call again"

The DO-NOT-CALL list serves no purpose anymore, these people wipe their behinds with it.  I keep getting calls from telemarketers all day long, and when I mention that I'm in the donotcall list, they just hang up, and within 72 hours they're calling again.

I got a call from this number today, and have received many from different numbers that are probably coming from the same company, always saying that they're not offering anything, that they were hired by some third party agency to make people aware that they might be overpaying for their merchant services, and they always request copies of current statements.  Sometimes they claim to be calling on behalf of your bank, but when you ask them what bank that is, they hang up.  They're extremely insistent; if you try to be polite, you're going to be wasting your time.

Doesn't leave message, just hangs up after three rings.

Wanted to know who calle

Asked for the owner, who wasn't in.  Asked to speak to the person who is in charge of the merchant services account.  Stated that our fees are going up this month and she wanted us to fax over our last statement.  If you are from our current provider, you would have that information accessible to you.  Yes, we surely will fax over our private financial details to you.  Let us get right on that!

The speal hasn't changed a bit. How do you get rid of them? 2 or 3 times a day sometimes!!!

 Fraudulent caller. wants credit card info from businesses

"Kim" from Sekure has been emailing, calling & faxing relentlessly now for weeks.  Boss is always out of the office on various jobs.  The one day she caught him in (when I wasn't answering, as I wouldn't have put her through) he brushed her off by telling her to email something and he'd read it.  She asked my name the next call, and acts like she's holding me accountable for my boss sending over our credit card processing statement (yeah, right - that's not going to happen!).  I asked my boss if he wanted to deal with them & he said to tell them no the next time they called, that he's no longer interested.  So, that call was today and I got a snotty "REALLY?" when I relayed my boss' message.  "Yes, really, Kim."  Well, she informs me to tell my boss she is closing his file so she's not wasting anymore time.  Kim, dear, those words are music to my ears!!  Until, of course, the next little moron in a smoke-filled cubicle located in the basement of a back-alley intercity borough calls from "Sekure"!  

Morons..waste..calls every day.Mostly hang ups..no manners.Rude?

What they are hoping to sell are non-cancellable leases on credit card readers.
If you want to get a better "rate" on credit card processing, you need to lease their equipment. Which won't work. Which you will have to pay for every month for years anyway. And it will be 20 times what you could buy new equipment for on your own.
What they will also hope to get is all your bank info which they will sell to other crooks.

Just tell them the calls are being recorded and will be turned over to the FBI. Then ask if they know they are under investigation.

how to get even with these pests? wasting time. any suggestions??

same  here, wasting my time, I pick up the phone and immediately put them on hold for ever.  Still call several times a day....
