call after call, but no message and can't call the number back, all I get is a fast busy

I've received at least 8 calls in the past week from this number.  No message ever left and I don't know anyone in Toronto.  I shouldn't receive them since my phone IS registered on the "Do Not Call" List.  I'm reporting them to the list.

647-288-7959 calls twice a day, machine pics up and they leave no message.

this number is on my caller id two times a day every other day...  What's the deal?  I guess they do not honor the "Do not call list"!

Just got called. Guy asked for non-party resident. When advised no one by name he even apologized for the bother.
Called the number and it had a recording extension 4108 is busy so leave a message. They did state in the message it was a marketing call.
Not that it would do any good but left a message to take my number of their calling list or would persue matter further.

APU keeps calling !! He's some sort of freak. Next time I get to TO, Canada I'll drop by have string that [***] up !!

This person has called 2 days in a row. Man Asked for husband....said he wasn't home.  Man with strange accent. He hung up and wouldn't say who he was. I.d. said Ontario call.  Will not answer next time. Very Annoying!  We are also on the Do Not Call List!

They call twice a day and never leave an answer.  When I do pick up, there is a long pause so I hang up knowing that it is a telemarketer.

They call about twice everyday the caller ID says: Toronto, ON 647-288-7959.

calls us several times a day.  We do not answer

This number just me 10:06 2/14/08 They were speakin Spanish (My father is hispanic) but I didn't understand what he wuz sayin. So i kept sayin what then he hung up on me!

These people call every single day to my house. sometimes they talk sometimes they not. They said that is a  free insurance for 30 day. They also said they are calling from bank of america. They call sometime from a no name no number register, but regular from this and the 647-288-7825. It's terrible that our banks sell our phone numbers to telemarketers.

I get calls from this number every day - they never leave a message.  I get more calls like this than from people I know.  Long ago when the phone rang everyone would run to it.  Today, when the phone rings we rarely make a move to get it.

This caller calls at least 5 times a day.  It is very annoying and would like it to cease.

kept calling me for 3 months or so. very persistent. do not pick up!

This just started with me in the last two days.  I didn't recognize the number so I let the answering machine get it.  The guy left a message and the message said that he had a very important message.  He said his name was Matt Clark.  A lot of times when they call, they try to sound as if they're familiar with you.  NOT!!!!!   Now, I'm trying to figure how to turn them off!

Yesterday I received a call from this number. The number showed "unknown caller" on my telephone. The caller asked to speak to my wife saying that they were calling about her American Express credit card. She does not have an American Express card.
Today I received a second call. This time the number showed "Call Center". The caller asked for my wife saying that she was calling about my wife's Bank of America credit card.
My wife called the "800" number on the back of her credit card. The person who answered the call stated that this was fraud and not to give any information out.
