Just got a phone call from this #, they called me couple times already but i missed. Today I answered the call. Same situation with CK. They said got my info from bridal show which was from last year me and hubby went. They book the schedule for tomorrow night 7:00 at same place your guys have :  6175 highway 7, Woodbridge.

Just call the police they said the right place to call is The Canadian Anti- Fraud Centre, but they are off now , will try tomorrow

Calls 2-3 times a day...had to block the number because they were driving us crazy!!!!  Timeshare scam!!!!!!!  Please beware!!!!

just got off the phone with one of thier "reps" .. he said it was a drawing from the TD Canada trust ballot i had filled out at the local music fest back in June.  Used some excuse that "we've gone thru the final drawing and i was lucky enough to make it through... he wanted to verify some of the information on the ballot...  when he asked if i was married or common-law, and i responded "Single" ... long pause... dead air other than background noise....Okay our contest is only for married couples, alright, I call you back tomorrow to arrange a time".....

1) Yes, i've filled out many ballots at the music festival
2) if it was TD Canada trust calling, I would verify with a local branch officer, and NEVER take anything said on the phone legitamately for security and sanity reasons.
3) I also am on the DNC list, however, when i read the "rules" it says "if you've given out information on ballot/contest slips, we have no control over prosecution, because by signing it, you are granting permission to call you".. so again, I always ask for a land method i can verify everything thru
4) Once he asked me my marital status, I immediately clued into the fact that something wasn't right.  Any ballot for contest that requires you to be married, the "guard" standing over the ballots is to remind/double check that before letting you fillout/deposit the slip.
5) if they call again, i'll lead them along for as long as i can, but if they start going into the "come to us"... I'll say "Give me the car i'm supposed to have won, and then I can come to you" :D

I got the same call several times. I was almost convinced because when I asked how they got my number they told me I won the price from the Toronto Kids Fair this year which I remember filling in a ballot. They enumerated 5 prizes I can choose from if I will attend their show at Woodbridge. Then I searched for the callers number and got to this website. After that I stopped answering my phone whenever I see that number coming up from my call display.

Lesson learned: never fill-out a ballot just to win dream prizes. Nothing is free this days.

I just recieved a call from this number....same as everyone, googled the number and found this site.  Unfortunatley when you fill these forms out at legit places, fairs, events etc..... you have no way of knowing what kind of scammers are going to be able to get your information after they discard the forms.  I am a police officer and there is really nothing that can be done.  There not doing anything criminal by calling and offering prizes.  The only thing that can be done if it continues is a possible criminal harrasment investigation.  But good luck being able to track down the exact person calling.  My suggestion, which I will be doing my self, is to block this number with phone company.  That fraud website, previsouly posted is a good place too.  Its monitored by the RCMP and I'd imagine they have already had tons of complaints about it come in.

Same situation.  Apparently I won 1 of 5 prizes and they got my name from the Ribfest.

I filled out a form in May of 2010 at the Brampton Rib and Roll. this company has bugged the crap out of me calling at least 15 times per week. it's a time share scam. one caller even had the balls to yell at me on the phone. i can block 30 numbers with my home phone, plus 20 with my home phone company. they call from different numbers, so you have to block each one. the calls stop for about 4 days, and then you receive more calls from them from different numbers. this year i went to the Rib and Roll Festival i  brampton. Low and behold, there was the same table setup with a ballot box to win free prizes. did i fill out a ballot? sure did. 25 of them. each one i filled in the spaces, "Another scam from PB Direct for a time share scam" Hope they enjoyed the message!!! Don't waste your time filling out these ballots. worst thing you can ever do!!!! Another number they use is 905 225 2225. also received several calls from a number with only three digits. that being 405. nothing else!!! Beware of this scam!

Hello Puck...I received 3 calls one day from PB Direct. the guy asked me where my wife worked. where i worked. how much income we have. the guy was really persistent. I told him it was none of his business and to not call me anymore as i was not interested in time share scams. he then began yelling at me on the phone. i hung up on the idiot. 2 days later, they called again. it's annoying as i work in a building where i have to have my cell phone on vibrate and only use it for work and emergencies. they keep on calling, no matter how many times i told them not to. first i was nice to them. then the calls kept coming in. i then was rude to them. they dont care. they still call. low life's is all i can call them.

Wow. Glad I googled the number before heading down to woodbridge. My mom received a call from this very number and an asian sounding lady said she'd won 1 of 5 prizes (from ballot she did indeed fill out 2 weeks back). Good thing my mom came to me first...after which I quickly looked up some info on this phone number. Thanks to your comments, I now know this is some f%&#^$ scam.

Hope no one else falls for these crooks and they'll have to eventually shut down.

Got the call on a stats holiday.  they sure work hard eh.  Thanks to your comments, I definitely won't be going to 6175 HWY7 unit 6 in Woodbridge.  I didn't give info and asked for more information and said that I would call back about which session I would attend.  They said they would email.  of course nothing.  They said it was from a ballot from the Taste of Lawrence which happened a few weeks ago.

Its not a scam at all i went to the toronto pride festival i fill out a ballot they called me they told me i win a prize, from the begining its sound weird why i have to travel to woodbridge to collect my prize,
Than she explain me the company whos paying for my prize want me to know about them,so i went to wo woodbridge i spent 90mns listenin a guy talking about discount and everything i wasnt interesting to buy a membership cause i belong to the competition but they gave me a. $1000 gift card for forniture. Thx

My husband and I been harassed by this phone number and we know after reading this site that this is a scam.Thanks to all your postings here.  Is there a channel to officially report these unethical scam-mongers?

told me they were from Premier Buyers Direct. I won one of five prizes. Pulled my name from a ballot from Good Food. Hung up.

Just received a call from Premier Buyers Direct; you can tell its a scam.  Cannot imagine why the organizers of the Home Show "sell" the registration information to a company like this?  I have reported it to the anti-fraud unit.

I say we start calling them back how ever many times they call us, only of its local as I'm also getting calls from Texas.
