I didn't get a call from this number, but 647-496-4195 called me claiming to be Canadian Tire MasterCard as well as others, and the number is one digit off, so it's likely the same people. This is messed up.

TD master card, dont pick up

Help! I gave them my birth date and somehow they got a hold of my address what do I do? I already called TD and cancelled my credit card but I'm worried about identity theft! I didn't give them anything else important though (no card numbers) but they made me say yes to some crap.

When you pick up, there is no answer for a good 5 seconds, which makes you question why they even called you. A woman with a souther-like accent claims to be part of TD Credit Cards, saying it's a sales call about some service. A big bank like TD calling at 8:45pm to do a courtesy call? I can smell the scam from a mile away.

This number has called me repeatedly since September. I finally answered this week but no one spoke. I googled the number to find out who this could be and here I find this. Definitely going to ignore it.

left a message, was a girl said hello, hello twice. then hung up, if it was something important they would have left a message.

Got a call from this. Thought it was a scam and found out it was a test call for a job I applied to. They want to see how u communicate and if you even pick up calls and if you are rude

Asked for me by name with a convincing sounding, but probably computerized voice. Said it was me, then nothing, then the line went dead. Predictive dialer got too far ahead of the actual operators, I guess. Idiots.

Had a missed call with no voice message left.  Called back and the signal was busy.  Checked online and saw reviews for a TD Card scam...

just recieved a call from them - susposedly representing TD Canada Trust CC.  Wanted to provide me with a free Credit score as a thank you for being a customer.  Really?  they just want the person data.

Just called me at 9:00 p.m. saying she was with TD Visa and wanted to protect my credit.  I said it's fine and hung up.  Whether these types of calls (bank, credit cards, credit protection and the like), are legitimate or not, you should NEVER offer personal info nor give any if asked.  NEVER.  If you want credit protection, credit reports or anything of the like, contact Visa (or whomever you want the service from), yourself so you know you're talking to them and not a possible scammer.  

Called me again but this time no one said anything when I said hello.  Only scammers do that so I'll be sure to let my answering machine "talk" to them from now on.  Thank goodness for the person who invented call display so we can avoid these clowns, at least until they start calling from a different number.

I am afraid it is even worse than con artists: TD is authorising these calls. [***]!

Been getting 1-2 calls from this number for the last 3 days.  Finally picked up today and said hello - no respose.  Checked my phone to make sure the call was actually connected and when I put the phone back to my ear there was a woman finishing a sentence.  I asked her to repeat herself and she asked if I was deaf!!  I explained what happened and there was no response so I asked if she was daft.  She didn't hang up, but there was no further communication.

Very rude.  Seems like a scam from the reading I've done.
