    The LAST thing you want to do with these types of calls is to press "9" ( or whatever number they say ) to be removed form their list.

    All this does is confirm to these scammers that your phone number is valid, and you will get even MORE calls from them.

    Easiest way to deal with these a$$holes is: DON'T ANSWER YOUR PHONE IF YOU DON'T RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER.  They'll try so many times and if they don't get an answer, they will decide that it's an inactive phone number and it will get removed from their list.  It takes a while, but it works.
