    Call to my mobile phone at 10:01 Pacific, claiming that my phone service will be cut off in 2 hours. I was told to "press 2 for Chinese", or "press 1 for English".
    I pressed one.  After a few rings, and maybe a tone from a FAX machine, somebody answered, and he did not understand why I was (allegedly) calling him.  I believe that the scammer redirected my call to an innocent person.  Sigh.

    I did a Google-search for the (Ontario) number, with ZERO results. Strange.

    I wish for a pox on scammers!
