I had been getting calls from this number as well, I found out that they are a fundraising agency called 2evolve – they apparently work with loads of different charities. You can email contacts@2evolve.com.au -  then someone can remove your details. I did and they did it straight away

got the same in New Zealand today 30/07/2014

I am also being spammed from this number. When I call back I get a message from somebody called Erin with an American accent with the name of the organisation being undecipherable but sounding a bit like "Cheerball". Calls are made whether I am in NZ or Australia. Now I have read this correspondence, i shall do my best to avoid all contact!

Hi, I've been receiving calls from this number for the last 6 months or more. They state they are from Coastguard (I am a member of coastguard). I usually don't answer the call unless by accident and they never leave a message. I have now added the number into my cell phone with the name "DO NOT ANSWER".

Also got 3 calls from the same number today 11/12/2014 (NZ) - i called back and heard a message from a woman with an american accent. Could not make out who or where she was from so i hung up.

Most irritating!  Many calls during the day and even at night!  Tried to call back, it just disconnects.

I got a call in new Zealand from this number and when calling it back it cuts off after two rings and disconnects... no messages left...

The number belongs to 2evolve, an Australian fundraising company that also operates in New Zealand. Their website is www.2evolve.com.au/ and lists both Au and NZ contact details.

Please note that the telephone number does NOT belong to Evolve Marketing Ltd of Auckland, which is my company. We exchanged legal letters with 2evolve a few years ago because of their confusingly similar name and we still get quite a few messages from people thinking we are them. Needless to say, 2evolve are not on my Christmas card list.
