Hi,
In order for customers to use Viber, they need to enter their phone number. In order for Viber to verify that its them, they send a code for customers to enter on Viber. Customers can choose to receive the code either via text or via a call. I think some people are either careless that they enter wrong numbers accidentally & it turns out that viber sends the code to the number they entered. Or, those people like to mess.

they are very persistent and although I have asked to be removed from the list a month later they are still calling.

Received a call at my home at 5:33AM.  I answer the call thinking it was an emergency as I have elderly parents and are not well… then I saw the number on my call I.D. from Palo Alto, California.  I told them it was 5:30 in the morning how dare you, don't call again… and hung up!  There's a law you can be called after 9PM, these people are stupid!
