Just got a call from them stating they were International Bank of Commerce and debit card with  them (which i do not have) was locked. Such a scam, I hung up.

I hope they get caught soon, what low life's to try and take peoples debit info. like that!

Called my wife's cell phone and said that her HSBC account has been blocked and to call their security department immediately.  We don't have an HSBC account so I checked on line and Bingo - just another scammer.

I received a call on my cell from this number, but I never answer a number I do not know. No message was left, so I googled it and found out it's a scam. I called the number back & opted out of further phone calls... Hopefully it won't happen again.

I'm not an immigrant and they called me.  Relax.

Got same automated message claiming to be from HSBC and my Mastercard is frozen, please press 1 to unlock.  Hung up and called HSBC customer service who said they have heard about this phishing attempt.

I just got this call today at 9:50 AM from the same number 651-304-4977 . Same as you heard: an automated message saying that my mastercard credit card has been locked. Instantly it reeked of scam. Also helps that I don't have a mastercard...

Today at 10:22, I didn't answer and google to learn that its a scam.  Thanks for your posts

The Left a message stating my HSBC card had been locked.  I dont even have an HSBC bank account, let alone a credit card with their institution.  They asked me to press 1 in order to speak with a customer service representative.  This is a Scam.

they called on 1-11-12 saying that my credit card has been lost and to tell them my number. These are crooks. I reported them yo the Feds. I am connected and they are on radar for criminal intent>

I just got a call from the number and the recording said that my HSBC card had been locked and could only be unlocked by speaking to them.

I should have given them my exes information! LOL!

Caller ID says Hastings MN.  Robo message says my Master Debit account has been compromised and to press 1 to fix it.  Has SCAM written all over it.

Got it today. no messages.

My husband just got this call on his cell phone. Said our HSBC account was locked.  We don't have one. He hung up.

Same $hit! They said my CC was locked and to unlock press 1. I did, Then they said for security, type in my #, reluctant, I did. When it asked for my exp date I knew it was BS.! I hung up called my CC bank and they said the NEVER made that call. Reported to fraud dept and I got a new CC in 3 days. No damage done for FAST acting. They'll get caught!

Automated voice messaging system saying my HSBC debit card has been locked out, hit 1 to unlock.
I've never used that POS bank and never will.
SCAMMER BS.
