Constant calling, no answer on the other end

It's to ask for donations to the Unique Thrift store, which supports a variety of charities. Clothing, books, dishes, etc. Sometimes there's a lag in the call because it's done automatically, so when you pick up, it hasn't connected on their end yet.

Apogee Retail is now calling and collecting for Lupus MN Pickup.

The story is do you have anything to donate, the truck will be in our area,
New number is 651-748-0400.

They do identify themselves as working for Apogee Retail.

How gets to real charity is another question.

These are all harassment calls and should be reported to the FCC.  Use the URL   www.fcc.gov  and look on the left-hand side of the web page to find access to a complaint form.  It is easy to fill out and report the harassment.

The FCC then takes that information and investigates the calling party, based on the information you provide in the complaint (time of call, was there any message, caller ID, do you owe this firm any money, etc.?).

If your complaint is valid, the FCC can fine the calling party $10,000

I have filed a half-dozen complaints over the past five years and always obtained follow-up from the FCC and in most instances, the calls stopped.

We get calls from here regularly. I called and got the Vietnamese Pickup center. I was told that this line is incoming only and does not do call outs.....I requested that my number be removed or else. It was a cordial conversation, and I hope my number will be removed. Call during business hours........

They do not care i worked there for a year and what a mistake. Its a bunch of kids they never do the work. Half the numbers dont even get removed. That place is a joke and as far as the donations or money getting to the charitys i doubt it. Greedy [***]

The way to get the non profit callers to stop calling is to ask to speak to the manager immediatly.
While speaking to the manager/supervisor ask to be taken off the call list. It will happen immediatly.
If you just ask to be taken off the list, it won't happen, the agents can't do it!!!!!!!!!!

Yes the charities do get 100% of the money, but take it easy on the agents, they are only doing a paid to make a living, no need to yell or hang up on them. Won't help anything, and when u hang up without a response, YOU WILL BE CALLED AGAIN THAT DAY, WEEK, and even MONTHLY

They just called me at 8:45 on Sunday night -  a little outrageous time to call, even if it is a charity. Their number is blocked on my phone, but it still rings once and I got up from my project I was working on and started for the phone before I realized it was a blocked call. They call me often, and I don't like it!!!!!!

I get calls from this number daily.  If I don't know the caller, I just let it go to VM.  Alas, they NEVER leave a message.  I've also asked to be taken off the Viet Nam Vets call list, but still get calls.  If this is them, they really need to clean up their act because it's giving that charity a Very Bad Name!!!

I don't know who is calling at insanely early weekend mornings and leaves no message and no id shows up.  If this is an official organization of some sort, they lost my support.  If there is any way to trace it back to a company, that's what I'd like them to know.

That is a 100% SCAM front.
