3 calls within 4 hours....really??!! Called back and says "thanks for calling your local newspaper, please hold...bla bla bla".

We are getting an average of 10 calls a day from them right now.  Pissing me off.  Enough already.

I just cancelled my subscription to the Pioneer Press this weekend. Today, I have received numerous calls from this number. Coincidence?

Got the same call today. When I called back I actually got a live person who gave me the whole sales pitch and I finally just had to say NO THANKS! We will see if they call back. Same thing happened a few months back!

It's a pioneer press telemarketer. Very annoying. They call constantly, and never leave a message.

The exact same thing happened to me!   When I called the paper to question the bill, they acted like it was a mistake, obviously it sounds like a common practice!   At that time, I also got put on their do not call list-that really worked! Must be some law against just sending paper and then getting billed for it! I filed a complaint.

they were calling me to subscribe and I kept saying no.  Suddenly the paper started being delivered.  Now I have to call and make sure they don't try and bill me for it!  grrrr

No message but did come to a do not call cell phone that has never been list.

I got this phone number and "Minnesota" on my ID, but they left no message.  Not calling them back.  I got a bill from the Pioneer Press, but it is addressed to a different person.  I'm ignoring this, but I will see what happens.

This number is the Pioneer press newspaper or one of their distributors. If you signed up for a trial they will call. If you did not sign up, they will still call.

I had received multiple calls on all different numbers for pioneer press. One other tactic they do that i learned after i was getting billed and no paper. (I never ordered) was they sent out a flyer in the mail that most ppl just thre it out, but it stated they are giving everyone a 30 day trial and you must call in to opt out or continue to be billed. That is deceit
