Yet another caller annoyed by this number.  Unsure as to who it was.  Signal faded upon pick-up.

This is the information I have been able to gather so far.

Second call in 2 weeks from this number.  Someone should report these guys.

The location looks like its from Batesville, MS!

They just called me about 15 minutes ago. Didn't answer n they didn't leave a msg either.

This number called me and did not leave me a message...

Just wanted to let everyone know. The company Dixienet that supposedly is connected to these calls was located in Batesville, MS and their corporate phone number was actually (662) 997-2000. However, according to the Mississippi State Corporation search, this company's license was cancelled back in 2004. I would suggest that each person who has received calls claiming to be from this company contact the State Attorney General office in Mississippi, Mr. John Hood at (601) 359-4230 to lodge a complaint. Perhaps they can trace this back and file charges since it is obvious this company is no longer holding a proper license. In addition, if you would like to research the information for yourself and learn who the Registered Agent and Corporate Officers were who are listed under that name, here is the link: (https://business.sos.state.ms.us/corp/soskb/Corp.asp?235532) type in without the parenthesis.

Remember though, the callers may be using this company information to hide their real company since most scammers do that.

agreed.  I have been on the no call list for as long as I can remember and I still got called on my cell.

It's a robodialer (When I say "no one knows my number", I mean "no one" literally).  Message in Spanish ends "...[gan]ador de nuestro sorteo mensual.  Para aceptar los regalos aprieta número ahora."  ("...[win]ner of our monthly lottery.  To accept the gifts press [pound] now.")

Got a call in Vancouver, Canada, no message left on VM. I called back, number states it is disconnected.

If this number is spoofed, why not keep them on the line long enough to establish a trace after you request a line trace from your telco service provider. This way, the origin of these calls ( if outside the 662 code) can be easier to trace and report. Regardless if you are on the DNC list, your TSP should have a feature called Call Trace, Call Screen and/ or Anonymous Call Reject ( for blocked calls).
