these people just started calling me from this number. so far they have called 2 times today and it isn't even 4:00 p.m.  they never left a message and i don't answer the phone to numbers that i don't recognize.

I live in Iowa. This is not an Iowa number they are calling from, it's an out of state number.

they call all the time

This number has been calling me for about a week. I just called the number and it said the mobile number you are trying to reach is unavaiable. I called back again it it says it's the CBE group. Which is it really?

I kept getting calls from 6783317257 everyday on my cellphone. They call while I am working, never leave a message. Today I answered and the lady interrogated me like I was a criminal and wanted me to verify my identity yet she was very guarded and was almost reluctant to tell me who she was. She arrogantly told me she will continue to call back until I gave her my identity. This is harrassment in my opinion. I will report CBE collections...i had to research this online. She also told me she had my identity already. hmmmm. A Lawyer perhaps may be interested?

Received 2 calls today, no messages left.I receive calls from them once a month since the beginning of the year.
I do not have Verizon (never have, never will) and I do not have any outstanding debts. When I call the number back it is identified as the CBE group but they have no record of me or my phone number >( grrr.

Has anyone had any luck being taken off their call list?

These people have been calling 'faithfully' twice a day and they are not the only pests who call.

Somewhere, somehow, I suspect my landline telephone number has gone viral among telemarketers, charities and foundations.  Yes, my number is on the 'no call' list but I understand (local) sales marketers, charities/foundations do not have to adhere to the no call lists. I have checked my local phone company in regard to blocking these habitual, pesty callers. Call-block is not available from my phone company for out of state phone calls.  It is only a workable option if the pesty calls are coming from the phone company's general vicinity. The pesty calls come from out of state, so call-block is not available to customers. Of course that stinks! And something needs to be done about the perpetual intrusions via the phone. It's time no-call list consumers start yelling about being held hostage by these out of state phone pests.

these people will call several times a day . they want to speak to a person who does not live here . i continue to tell them that person who they are asking for does not live here but they continue to call . we do not have any debts and i'm tired of these people calling me.

CBA calls me twice a day.  I have NO DEBTS.  When I answered once and asked the caller (from IA at the time) to remove my number from the list, he asked repeatedly to talk to a woman I do not know.  I told him that was not my name and not the name of anyone I knew.  The next day, the calls started coming from their GA numbers.

They've called me 3 times today, but have not left a message.

I answered the call from this number on my office phone.  It was disconnected immediately by the caller.

Just received a call from them. I recently moved from NY to VA. After researching here and googling the company (Google is your friend people, use it) I called them back and advised them that I just received this phone number about 3 weeks ago and I am not who they are looking for I was advised they would not call me again. I guess time will determine if they lied. Either way, it can't hurt to do that. Save yourself the headache if you are truly not the person they are trying to reach. The rep was very helpful, she did not grill me or try to verify my identity. I simply told her I just moved and this is my new number, simple as that.

They have been calling me 3-4 times a day, very annoying.  I finally called them and spoke with an operator and told them to stop calling me.  Apparently a debt collector...the calls finally stopped.
