Claiming to be a law firm (South East Legal) they talk fast on purpose, a female named Elrdige claimed to be a secretary for the attorney and Allen McDuffy claiming to be the attorney.... tried to get me to pay my payday loan over the phone with my credit card .. would not give me an physical address to mail them the money order............... beware.............

I love how people that work there post things about how helpful and nice they are. HAHAHA. Everyone sees right through that, hope they give you a raise for the crap you say to make them look legit!
Ohhh yes, very helpful by accusing people of fraud (which it is NOT), and threatening jail (which they CANNOT do).
And making up titles like "Investigator such and such" when they are just lowlife scammers. Don't let these people scare you. Impersonating officers of the law is against the law and I am reporting them to every agency I can find!
A legitimate collection agency will never lie about being an investigator, will never threaten jail time because they know the law, and will not accuse you of a crime you did not commit.

Watch for Mr. Edmonds, he calls from 678-369-0105. The numbers go to either fax numbers or personal home numbers it seems. So very nice of him to "wish me good luck"!!! I indend to file a complaint.

Mr. Edmonds called my JOB!!! A big problem for me. He stated that he had a message that I had am outstanding  pay day loan that was sent to him for Investigation amd that it was urgent to settle this matter. I called back the # and it went straight to a fax line....Whats this really about??? I wish if this is a bill collector just speak the truth and explain the matter without all the lies and tricks!!! I have been a victim of Fraud and everything scares me now. I refuse to give any info to anyone who can't provide me with legit proof if any debt or etc.

Ms Hammon calls and threatens me with felony charges. She called me this morning and had me upset. I have been off work due to ankle surgery.

These people have threaten all kinds of things. They said if I didnt pay they would have a police officer to come to my door and have me taken to jail. These people can not provide me with any type of information at all about the "law firm". No address nothing can they provide me with but yet they can threaten me with all kinds of things. Now for those of you that may not know thw law and how things like this work I am going to tell you. First of all if you have committed fraud you will be served papers by your local police department or sheriff's department in which they will come to you. You will either be arrested or summons to court. It will be handled in the legal relm not people calling you over the phone like this load of crap from these people. You can file a complaint with the FCC and really this is exactly what everyoneneeds to do when they are contacted by people such as this, they are awful for doing this type of stuff to people but this is the way they make money. You have the right to any and all information if someone is trying to collect a debt that you really owe. If the company can not provide you with this information you have the right not to deal with these people. You have the right to put a stop to these people. Contact your local court house and start legal actions against these people. It is harrassment and that is harassment which is a CRIME!!!! I hope this will help many of you. You do have rights and you can protect yourself.

I just got a call from a Jennifer Hammond stating that she is an investigator, it did sound right so I didn't return her call.  I am glad I googled the number and saw all of your post.

I have gotten a few calls from this number 678-369-4698.  A Mr. Robinson called my mother and left a case number for her.  The voice mail said that I was on his "Top Wanted List" and it would be in my best interest if I called him back.  I did call him back to tell him that I was filling bankruptcy.  He said that until I have a case number he will be "actively pursuing" me.  I have to say this, with our economy the way it is and the cuts in my job, pay day loans seemed like the best/easiest way to get help.  Now that I have 7 out  and am paying more in "finance charges" than I have money coming in, I have no other choice but to file.  So thanks Mr. Robinson for the conversation, I knew you weren't legit to begin with but if you want your money, I'll see you in court.

Received call from same company!  Used a different name and extension -- looking for an employee.  
Dwane Edwards used # 678-359-44654 -- THIS IS A SCAM to extract information for possible identity theft.

Received a call from Henry, Zachery and Best -- number is 678-359-4464, Barnesville, Georgia

claiming to look for one of our employees.   The caller used the name Dwane Edmonds, claimed to calling from a lawfirm.

You people who think this is legit  and people are "doing their jobs" are IDIOTS!  I was a bill collecter for many years and this is OBVIOSULY phishing for information to clean out your bank accounts!  you should know who you DO and DO NOT owe money for and to whom!

I have received several calls at my job and my cell phone from "Victoria Chavez" who claims that I owe a debt. When I asked her to send me the information in writing she said she would and to wait a week. Also, when I call back to her office there is never a company recording.... just a recording that says, "You have reached Victoria Chavez's Office." This is a SCAM!  Please do not fall for it. Whenever she would leave me a voice mail she would always say, "I wish you good luck." I see messages about this phone number dating back to 2010. They ought to be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of hard working people. Over time their name has changed slightly and the phone number has changed slightly. Currently the number is still 678-369-0126.  Please do not provide any information to these people. If you want to throw your money away, get in your car.... drive down the street.... open your window.... and throw your wallet out.
