I can't believe there are scum bags like this out there preying on people without jobs. That's unbelievable! How does Robert Topel sleep at night? Beyond Star.....HA! I'm glad I didnt' recognize this company and I researched it. I'm glad that there are websites like whocallsme.com to catch those sleezeballs in the the act.

I just got a call from this guy who stated his name is Robert Bell. To me he sounded like he was very drunk, and i felt weird so I hung up. And decided to look up his number on line, and then I came across this. Do Not fall for this.

I know he sounded VERY DRUNK.

Yeah he called me in Dallas claiming to be a GIS lead for Oncor. If he's reading this, before you claim that you're interviewing for a GIS job you should look up what GIS stands for.

This guy is unprofessional and a whack job. Started talking about how someone could get killed working in oil fields he says you do not know who your working with could be members of the mafia and you could be murdered and since it is a dangerous job any ways and high risk you wont know if you were murdered or accidently killed. This guy is crazy. After several minutes of his babble we just hung up.

I got a call from Robert (912-376-6054) this morning, the day after Christmas: red flag number one.  He identified himself as the Director of Operations from Beyond-Star but on his voice mail, it sounded like OnStar which would have made perfect sense, given my field.  But the Director of Operations is calling me, and not HR?  Red flag number two.  I also found him on LinkedIn.  His profile pic is him (I assume) in a naval officer's uniform; also weird.  Is he in the Navy or is he the Director of Operations?  Red flag number three.  Red flags numbers four through 50 are listed above.

Received a call from Robert Topal from 912-376-6054 said he had a GIS Analyst job in the Bay Area and found my resume on a site that I had previously posted on.  Interviewed with for about 30 minutes and couldn't get a answer about the specific job description.  Seems like a scam of some sort.  He said he will call back in a week or two.  Don't think I will be very nice to him if he calls back

Just wanted to add that this is still going on.  I got a call on Thursday about a resume I had posted over a year ago.  Even though I've found a job since then it was something I was somewhat interested in so I called him back.  I tried asking questions and he immediately started interviewing me, asking about leadership skills, problem solving skills, and shortterm/longterm plans.  I tried once again to ask him for more information about the position, he said he had sent it in an email, then he said he had to go do some more interviews.  I realized later, I received no email.  I told my dad about this and he told me that it sounds sketchy.  Googling his number confirmed this.  Second person I've come across trying to take advantage of the downed economy.  Pretty pathetic and my guard is going to be pretty high from now on.

Beware!!! Feed him his own medicine back guys!

I am glad someone knows something about degrees, I keep going in and out in revolving doors getting the wrong one. I wish you people at Beyond-Star were my professors

I live in an area where traffic is just murder and there is heavy congestion, I am glad you explained to me in detail the benefits of online classes.

So happy that you have talked with my husband about online classes, now I can keep an eye out on the kids, until we can afford day care. Since then, he has volunteered to help out more with the kids. Your conversation was a blessing!

I've been out of work for about six months now, and I've looked high and low for work and there's nothing out there that I can see. Thanks Beyond-Star for showing me where all the jobs are because I would not have found them with out your help!

I sure needed something when I got up this morning, and that was your encouragement, plus help in finding jobs. I have been down for over eight months now.

I work heavily during the day, and need to take classes; however, there is a high crime rate where my sister and I live, and I can only attend classes at night. Thanks Robert for the conversation about online classes
