This number has called me for weeks about 3 times a week and whenever I would answer they would hang up.  If I didn't answer there was no voicemail.  I picked up today and didn't say anything, they waited and didn't hang up the phone until about 30 seconds after I picked up.  I am getting married and am planning a wedding and didn't know if maybe it was something that I had signed up for on the web.  I am very careful about who I give my info to, but I am curious if anyone was doing the same and maybe that's how they got our numbers.  It's just bugging the hell out of me and I wish people had better things to do!

I have been receiving calls about once a week for a month now.  At first they wouldn't say anything when I answered and would hang up shortly after, and the number would be an Unkown.  Now, whenever I answer they keep telling me that I have won some sweepstakes due to my excellent credit record.  That's about as far as I let them get before I tell them I'm not interested and hang up.  I have never entered a sweepstakes relating to my credit score, and don't even have an actual credit card other than my check card.

I keep getting the phone call that I have been entered to win $100k or $1 million as long as I am still with one of the major credit card companies. They also say they will send a diamond tennis bracelet and a bunch of magazines for free, as long as you will help pay for one magazine. When you tell them you don't want to pay for anything they hang up on you. Now I just answer with "I don't want one." Seems to piss them off ;)

I've recieved two calss from 678-969-9599 in the past week. My caller ID shows that it is a Georgia number. Last call received today 12-27-2008 @ 2:25 PM

Same number keeps calling me, probably longer than a year now.  I don't know about all of you, but I live in CA, so I don't see a reason why "Winner's Choice Publishers" in GA would be calling me.

Anyway, I just get amusement out of it now.  I try to see if I can get them to talk.  So far one mentioned what sounded like "Unisan".  Others have asked me for my 5 digit pin (what could a 5 digit pin be..not a credit card).  I hope one day light sheds on this mystery.

I got a missed call too from this number. Lucky, I didn't call back. I was getting these calls for quite some time and then I had my phone on a suspended plan. For some time these calls stopped, now they have started back again.

Just got call from 678-969-9599 and caller ID showed "C P W" (spaces in between).  When I answered (against my better judgement), there was nothing there.

I got a call from that number less then half an hour ago, no message, didn't try to call back. Here is the kicker I have a landline, my phone number is 3 weeks old and unlisted. I added them to my call rejection list. The company must have one of those programs that dial random phone numbers. I to am on the do not call list. Now getting calls from Canada which cannot be blocked. I never pick up unknown numbers.

I found a way to punish these people. I post a listing on Craig's List saying "I am trying to sell my PS3 and Wii as a package deal for $200 to fund a flight to Florida to meet this Girl" Then I put the 678-969-9599 as my contact. Now they get all the calls.

We get these calls almost every week, sometimes more, sometimes less. And I answer, and no on has ever said anything. I just put both my numbers on the do not call list, we'll see if that helps...

I recieved a call last year ,I'm convinced that they get your # off internet cell apps or surveys i never enter my cell # so they called me at home.

Yeah i get about 2 calls every 3-5 days for like the past 2-3 months. I am sick of it. I agree that we should file a lawsuit. To stop this nonsense.

i get a call about once a day while i'm at work only monday- friday never on the weekends.  no voicemail, i always ignore the call, if i answer they hang up. drives me crazy.....at least i'm not alone....if anyone deciides to do a lawsuit PLEASE LET ME KNOW.....i've been putting up with this for at least 2-3 years.....no joke.

Got a call today, calling from GA but the gentleman kept mentioning me eating dinner..it was 3:45pm. Anyways he asks if i am over 21 but under 75, then asks which one of my cards do i use the most, master, visa or discover.  Then he says i have been entered into their grand prize sweepstakes which is either a choice of a trip for 2 for 2 weeks to Australia, a Chevy Equinox or $30k.  He asks which one i would pick and i say IDK.  Then he proceeds to ask me to verify my my expiration date on my card.  I say no I will not provide that info, it's bad enough he has my name and address and phone #.  He then says that it's for verification purposes cause they obviously got the information somewhere and it was not pulled out of a hat. I told him they will not get that information and thanks, then they were handed over to talk to TONE.
