I got a missed call from this no. too! , phew  i checked it out .. thanks! i will ignore this caller.

I actually called UOB Call Centre to verify about this number (since I gave my particular to the caller from 6854-7100 in a rush last week).  UOB checked and told me that this is a promotion arm engaged by them. Hence, it is genuine and also a relief for me!

They called me for some offer.. fine.. then they want my e-mail address. I didn't want to give (too long complicated to explain my e-mail). So just send by post.. then he wanted to verify my mail address. I said u have it already and he wanted to verify. That is when i said i cant verify that YOU are from the bank.. Goodbye.

Thanks for the site though. i feel so glad about hanging up. :)
PS those telemarketer can sometimes ask for DOB and such to verify to have the service sold to you on the spot if you said yes. I have done that once , but regretted that. The offer is ALWAYS bad.
Sending me the offer need verification? Shouldn't need a verification for just sending me an offer. Just hang up when they say that.

I get variations of 6854 7100 and 6854 7111..I hope they all fall into a drain

The thing is, they also call late at night!

First of all, I didn't request to get telemarketing calls. Second and to make it worse, they are not confining themselves to office hours!!! Very INCONSIDERATE!

I had a missed call of this number today @ 2:15pm. I hate this kind of call and there are more important call that i need to answer then this...
And now because of these unknown and irritating calls, I always check the number before i decide to call back or not.

Got a call from 68547100 - called continously for 3 days and never pick up the call.

this number called me to promote the UOB ladies card, saying no need to fill the application form just by this phone call. blahh blahh....surprised that how could she even know i started the UOB credit card in which year??!! never trust telemarketers anymore!

called UOB call center and verfiied that this number is their telemarketer....phew...what a relief! that explains how could they actually have some of my personal info!

I've got a call from this number too. they know too much info of me, they know where i stay, what card I've with UOB, how I usually pay the bill, what's my credit limit.

Thanks for the site and remarks here! I found this number suspicious and while it's indeed from some legitimate banks, I hate it when they call non-stop to sell their services. Banking services are very specialised and if we need their services, I'm sure we'll not hesitate to call them up or visit them so they should really stop such practices.
