at the end of the call, i jus realize they r insurance company. i give them my ic num, date of birth d... [***]!! how to cancel??

saw this number...looks like one of those calls from credit cards company so decided not answer ;P

I independently called UOB and spoke to one of their operators there. The number is legitimate but I told them to take me off any telemarketing or sales lists.

I just got called.. exactly, Coverage for Credit Card.
i have given my add and IC for verification but I said, i am going down to the office, she said, only through phone. she talk like no stop. i do not even what she said... so fast... then i said, excuse me, I do not need any activation.

At the end, she said, ok, if you change your mind, please call back. i said sure.

just got a call from them... the woman speaks nonstop like shooting bullet.
lucky i decided not to give her any info, cos i asked her if there's any website to check any info regarding this, but she said "only through telephone"...

Just receive a call.  The caller is from UOB. Asking for my IC No & date of birth and also address for vertification.  

I was so stupid to give him all my details as i was just so engrossed in my office work.
After i hang up te call, then I start to worry. Was it a SPAM?

I have received the same call from 68547711 but no one speaks after I answer the call.  Hung up after 5 secs.

I received the same call and also stupidly gave her my details for her verification. I called back the next day to get her to cancel it.

This caller is from the same group as 68547111.  I believe it's a tied up partnership with financial services (ie credit card / personal loan), so these 'vultures' will hawk you like relentlessly.

One rejection should put them off from calling you, cos if they do call after you have expressed disinterest, you can lodge a complaint.

To cancel the policy, you will need to contact the insurer.

eh if its insurance policies, there is something called the free look period of 14 days, which allows u to cancel the policies at no cost. m

Thanks...I received the call from this number a few times....no reply if you call back...actually talked to the lady who wasn't really service oriented kind...selling UOB insurance for your credit card purchase...every $100 you pay small premium for insurance cover...somewhat impatient when I gave her wrong info as she knew about my UOB credit cards....maybe from a call centre for UOB...otherwise bad PR for UOB customer relations.
