My phonecall claims l dialled this number on 29th April 2016. My EE phonebill is charging me £8.33 for supposedly receiving a text from them. I've tried to trace this online and it is supposed to have been a 'competition', there is supposed to be a connection to 'PayForIt' on 023810105052  according to the information via EE online when l checked my bill online. I genuinely have NOT entered a competition or received any texts about competitions. I want my £8.33 refunded, this is theft.

I went on a web site vehicle information.uk it checks to see if your car is due an mot or tax. You out your car reg in and it all comes up about the car details. You then get a text message thanking you for using the service. It was that text that cost me £8.33!!! It didn't say anywhere that you were going to be charged that hurrendous amount. RIP OFF!!! It wasn't a call it was a text message but it is listed as a call so look in your itemised text message list. The text  message came through from 60076

I went on a government site to find out if my car was due an Mot and I'm charged £8.333 and yet the bill said I called 700074074 nothing said I would be charged the amount I've been stung for. How do they get away with it? It was on a website so it's not a call, just an enquiry?

Funny enough I was scrolling down thinking just the same! Iv just out of curiosity logged in to ee to find out what part of my (I assumed) unlimited contract costing £55 a month I was encuring these charges!!
I have just discovered that to present day from Jan 28 2016 I have been charged £62.50 from one company and £8.33 from this company!! I have become a complete wreck! More so because ee are not available to call now so I'm left with no other option but to stew and stress about this!!
I am a single mum of 3 foster 2 others while also workin part time as a voluntary family support worker for a local charity that support social services!!!
I work damn hard and feel totally violated!! Do u have any advice on how to go about reclaiming these charges?xx

BT confirmed that this number belongs to Surestream Digital - it's for when I thought I had accessed the GOV website to check vehicle tax / MOT - they say it's for a 12 month service, but that's only one text a year! @£10! I cancelled with them - you can call them on 0238 101 0505 or info@surestreamdigital.com. I can't help feeling conned and hoodwinked - I have also adjusted my settings on the BT app so no premium calls can be made / received.

These are the people who are taking the money from people who check their car road tex online.
EE are not helpful for anything. They gave me an automated answering number 02381010505 which is not good.
