GET EM' LEE!!  They called me today 10/29/2014 saying my direct express debit card has been locked and to reactivate it press 1.  So they're using a different scam now

What kind of idiot you ask? MY husband!
The call stated that his debit card had been hacked and asked for his SS#, which he punched in- twice. Each time he did it, the message would just loop and ask for it again. I think because of the recent HOME DEPOT hack and TARGET hack last year- my ole man was scared at first and of course a few beers didn't help the decision making.

Anyway-if they want the problems associated with ole man's ss#...they can have 'em! lol

I answered it and it said it was Mastercard, telling me my card was now locked. Then it gave me the option of pressing 1 for security. I hung up. I don't even have a mastercard. I suspect phishing.

They called. I answered an automate message played and said my master debit card had been locked for my protection and to press 1 to get assistance.  I pressed 1 and nothing happened, dead air.  I was curious because I don't own a master debit card, what they might say after I pressed 1.

Scam. Got an automated call on my CELL PHONE saying my "xyz" debit card had been locked, and to press 1 for more information. I pressed 1 and an automated msg said to press 1 to reactivate card and 2 to end call. I do have a "xyz" debit card but the call sounded 'phishy' so I just hung up and logged into my card account. No issues, account was not locked. I don't know how they got my cell number and bank info, it's a small local bank.

Robo call from Coach Chuck from Canada to give a web address but you Need to call back to get it?? Shoulda been in recording. They've cslled leaving the same message every 11 mins from different numbers in different states. This was from +1 (701) 204-7040 which is Bizmark, ND.
