"Home Security Group" has been calling my mobile phone from a North Dakota area code repeatedly, with both recordings and live people, for several months.  I've asked them to stop calling and they say they will, but haven't yet.  There was a period where they called my number multiple times over several consecutive days.

I report them to donotcall.gov each time they call, and you should too.

Calls 4x in 24 hour period and 3 x after I told him remove me from his list.  Says he is putting in security systems and will install for free if we put up a sign.  Doesn't identify his name or company.  The FCC needs to be contacted.

Seems a total scam to me.

Same thing, repeated repeated calls, no message.  

I finally called back, and was simply promoted to "Press #1", if I don't want to be called.

As if they are calling me, simply to try to get me to "Press #1".

These people calling you are not a security company or any legitimate business, they are information scalpers, idenity theft operations trying to steal your valuable information anyway they can, so dont answer these calls and report them to the authorities.

They called me yesterday and today on my cell phone and did not leave any message.  i did not call back, its annoying & waste of my time.  my cell is with Verizon and i do not solicite my cell# so i'm not sure how they got a hold of this. i need to find a way to block these spammers off my cell phone.

I pressed 1 and 2.5 hrs later they called me back.

The guy called and was rude.  Said he was selling security systems.  Third call from this company today.  Caller ID says OTO Group.  Told him if he called back I was calling the police.  Hopefully they won't call back again!!

Could it be from the US Search?? as they charge .85 to 4.95 for you to find out!! They could make a ton off of it. What pisses me off is when you get on no call registry and still get these calls.

Interesting, I have rec'd 2 calls from this # since yesterday. Tried back once, just got a beep. I thought I would Google to see who this is that does not leave a message and I came across your chain. Thank you so much! I just now called back and pressed 1 to remove me from call list. We'll see if it works. Thanks all!

Get real, people, pressing #1 is not going to do any good.

What company would call you, only to have the message when you call back "If you want to be off our list"?

It's a scam, probably in ID scam, and the only way to MAYBE stop it, is for everyone to report it.

I've gotten two calls (so far) as well. I just don't answer anything with an area code I don't recognize anymore. But it makes me mad, because I probably get as many "junk" calls as I do legitimate ones.

Called three times within the last hour, first one waking me up. I ignored the first two calls and answered the third, which was a dead line. Have been getting calls from this number for over a week.

Calls up to 4 xs a day, leaves no message. Im on the do not call list.

hehe yeah, I got that, too. "we're sorry. All circuits are busy." Sure they are. With people who are really P.O. and wanting the chance to cuss someone out and report them. lol

That's exactly what I thought. They call, you answer and they say, "If you don't want to take advantage of this offer and want on our do not call list, press...whatever." Well, if you were offering something, what the heck is it??Not that I'd listen to their talk anyway. Just a way to get ID, phone location on a cell, whatever.

They have called 4 times today trying to get me to say "yes" and my first and last name.

Called my cell 5 times today. Getting a bit annoying. What can I do ?
