telemarketer - I hung up on them

Finally called the number back over a week ago now and it went to a recording that offered to be taken off their list in the next 72 hours.  I pressed 1 to select this option.  Calls have continued.  Finally answered their call accepting their security system.  Asked Sebastian for the name of the company his reply "we are just the answering service".  Oxymoron.  You call me and claim to be the "answering service".  I asked for the name of the entity he works for, again he avoided the question.  I asked what company my security system would be from.  He said he would take my name off the list and then hung up.  [***]!  Go ahead and file a complaint, takes 30secs.  If your not registered yet make sure to click the affirmative on the question asking if it was a recorded message.  Don't get frustrated just answer and have some fun with them making them think they have a sale, that's what I'll do next time!!!

Two received in three days.  No Caller ID, no message left.   A call back to the number prompts to "Enter a "1" if you do not wish to receive further calls and be placed on the do not call list".   I entered "1"... let's see if that helps.

Unsolicited, pre-recorded telemarketing selling "home security systems".  Called my cell phone (also on the do not call registry).  Filed complaint with FCC:

Telemarketers...BAAAAD, GO AWAY.  They called my cell number...not cool

I just got a call from this number saying, "Congratulations.  You've won a new home security system."  I waited for the message to play and was told to press '1' for an operator a couple of times and then was given the option of pressing '2' to be removed from the list.  I hit 2 and the call ended instantly.

Called really early in the morning and didn't leave a message.

Calls everyday, twice a day...never leaves a message!

Telemarketing scum -- they've been calling my cell phone (which I do not give out and it's on the DNC list)  for several days now. Can't they be fined for these violations?

Pre-recorded robo-caller that keeps calling my cell phone (illegal I think).
I report this number to the FTC on their "Do not call" website everytime they call.

The pre-recorded call that states you have been selected to receive a free home security system.  Press 1 to speak to operator or 2 to opt-out.

I just did after doing a number look up because I received a call from them on my personal cell on 2/15/11 at 9:40 a.m.  No message left, just listed in my Received Calls.  What I read when I l was looking up the number, though, made me want to report them!  

So, don't just complain here, file a complaint!

Did anyone give their phone number to someone at Home Depot asking for a call on future work? As soon as the date came up I gave them for thinking about home repairs, these calls started.

they call me three tmes a day...its a recording..   part of the recording said press 9 to be removed and i did this numerous times... then i pushed the number to talk to an agent and i was put on hold forever...how can I stop these people

I have done this 4 times and they still keep calling after a small break

Keep receiving these calls from a security system, both on our home phone and my cell.try to call back and to get off their list but only get a "lines are busy, please try again later". Annoying.

Second call from this number to my cell phone, no message. This is my second time to this website, which identified another telemarketing call that I was receiving constantly. That finally stopped, now this one has started. Thanks everyone for posting so that we are informed; wish there was a solution to ban these types of calls.
