- Chuck Nelson replies to KimIf you call the number back a automated voice admits its a telemarketing number and then it steps you through a "Call Removal" process to have your number removed. I just hope it not another way to confirm your number is a working number. Guess ill find out in 72 hrs. I got about two calls each day for two weeks.
- cigarbabeThese [***] call you claiming to be an opt out service with the national Do not call.
I stupidly put in my number and the calls have increased to several times a day.
They have been reported to the FTC.
They just called back again from the same number offering to resolve my "credit issues".
When I asked why they were scamming people claiming to be a service they had no association with
the hag on the phone said" yeah sure we do, take another crazy pill lady" and hung up.- Caller: couldn't get the name it not clear when they call.
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- BeetleI got ANOTHER call from them today. They claim they can lower my credit card interest rate...bwahahaha my credit score is nearly 800 and the only credit card balances I ever carry are on two 0% APR cards (which is precisely why I even carry any balance on them). I waited to get a live operator, lied to her by saying that I'm changing my phone number, then proceeded to give them the cell number of my meanest bully (haha for the bully, I thought). The ghetto operator then called me out, saying that was t the number showing for me on her caller ID, taunting me that she'd still call this number. At that point I snapped, "Just stop calling me or I'm going to the cops, you little b****." She cursed back at me, telling me she didn't care if I tried the cops, calling me the c**t word. Then I hung up and reported the number to the sexy officer at my local police station lol.
- Caller: Credit card consolidation scam

- David replies to Ruby CoffeeNo, not for a huge commission, but for identity theft. Don't ever give out your c.c. # to unidentified or unknown callers.
- joyful replies to jennifer berterretche| 1 replyGood news! Apparently all the formal complaints about these people has paid off. NOW, if you return the call, you get an automated voice that says "FCC rules require telemarketers to provide an option to get off their calling lists" and I was actually able to dis-enroll.
I have been dealing with these people for over 3 years and although I have NEVER had a credit card, they keep calling. I have been on the Do Not Call list for 7 years and do check regularly to make sure I'm still listed. I have complained about "Anne from Credit Card Services" (and the others) on the Do Not Call List and filed a complaint with the FCC. About two months ago, I even called the personal phone number of the organization's CEO (provided by a considerate person who did the research and left it on one of these websites) and left a detailed message abut why these calls should stop. They did. For two months. Then about a week ago, it began again. I've just been hanging up but today, just to see, I returned the call and found that things had changed. Hooray!
So, return the call and if you're not given the option to dis-enroll, go to the Do Not Call and FCC websites and file formal complaints. - ask where they are locatedThey call me and I ask for the company name, city & state they are located in and their supervisors name. Then I inform them I'm on the no call list and that I will be turning all the information over to the attorney general's office in my state. It usually stops the calls for a time. I also forward their call to my local time & temperature number.

- Acecredit card phishing. I tried pressing "1" and using the response "Marion County 9-1-1...what's your emergency?"...some dude replied with a midwestern American accent and said: "...Nobody from a 9-1-1 dispatch would wait on hold for an operator, so get real." I said: "You're a telemarketer flunky with the worst job in the world, and you're telling ME to get real?!?" I've gotten these calls for over 12 months and they'll never stop.

- MrBnBRoutinely and regularly get calls from this number about reducing credit card debt. It's a total scam. If I was provided a reliable phone number for the actual company, I'd set my phone up to forward any call from this number to the company number.
- Caller: Refused to say
- Call type: Telemarketer
- gPressed 1, asked for the name of their company. And they hung up.
I'm reporting the number to the FBI- Call type: Telemarketer
- Cutier33I have been receiving calls at least 1 per week, sometimes more, from this number (701)671-9447 and every time I tell them I don't have CC, or my balance is too low, they tell me they will remove me from their list. I have tried everything, so lately I tried asking who they are, and that is always met with a click and then a dialtone.
How do I get the people to stop calling me, as I have been on the do not call list for many years, and this is costing me minutes on my cell #, besides the constant interruptions of my time?- Caller: Member Services (701)671-9447
- Call type: Telemarketer
- KarenThis person called me about lowering credit card debt and was extremely rude when I said I wasn't interested. Do not call me. How can I block this number?
- Caller: Credit card
- mattI thought this was over but I too am still getting these calls. This at least makes me feel a bit better.

- Mike GThe solicitation from this number on my cell is obnoxious and unwanted.
- Ryan BThis is yet another caller from the endless supply of "credit card services" scam. They seem to have the FCC regulations figured out to keep doing their scam, now it's time to fight them another way. Talk to them like you are interested. Thank them for calling and make up the terrible financial situation you are in and give them phony credit card numbers. Take as much time as you can. If enough of us will stall them long enough they will find this method of "doing business" non profitable and move to something else, like practice law somewhere...

- SuzieThis company call me at least twice EVERYDAY. It is so annoying. When I ask who they want to speak to, they hang up. When I ask the name of the company they hang up but they still call everyday. The is clearly a SCAM. I wish I knew how to stop this people from calling my number. YES, I signed up for the do not call but that didnt help.
THEY ARE SCAMMERS. BE CAREFUL EVERYONE- Caller: card service
- ND Attorney General replies to Cari JoYou may be interested in reading a news release this office issued in May 2010, warning about scam telephone calls using spoofed North Dakota (701 area code) telephone numbers, at http://www.ag.nd.gov/NewsReleases/2010/05-25-10A.pdf. Since then, we have received reports from across the country of other scams using spoofed ND phone numbers. Unfortunately, the Do Not Call laws don't work for these calls, because scam artists ignore the law.

- Caller: don't know
- MicheleI've gotten calls from this number offering to lower my credit card interest rates. I don't have a credit card in my name. My cell number is on the national registry of do not call lists. I finally listened and got to talk to a live operator and politely asked to be removed. He told me "only if you say pretty please"! SERIOUSLY?? I politely asked again to be removed, and he repeated himself. I told him by law he needed to remove me if I requested it, and he responded by saying he did not. He asked me if there is anything wrong with being nice...I then hung up. I had already called this number back twice prior and went through the automated system to remove my number!!! WTF???
