Recieved 5 calls in 1 day from Premiere Global and everytime it was just a beeping noise on the other line.  I tried to call back but the number had a busy tone.  Not sure what to do!!

Got called four times today from this number (twice in annonymous mode).  Each time with a fax on the other end.

I've recently started my own LLC and have gotten Nigerians fraudsters connecting to my line for the purpose of sending me a fax.  Fortunately, I always leave my fax machine (who uses paper, anyway ?) turned off.

Any hints on how to make this stop would be appreciated at CharliLJ at AOL dot com.

This is not a fax machine; stop calling; it is annoying.

Get calls several times a day now from a fax machine to my residential phone line - any hints on which govt agency or phone co. responsible for handling this?

call didn't give an organizational name (illegal--must give paid for by on campaign pieces)...anti-school bond call..robo call variety...said mean things about the school district and to vote against the school bonds...which passed by 78.45%...HA...my caller ID has it as premier global..there is a premiere global services, I wonder if it is the same company...its web site says:  "Premiere Global owns and operates automated and operator assisted bridges located in its multiple operations centers worldwide."  hmmmm

I have received three phone calls today.  When I answer the phone it is a fax machine trying to fax something off to me.  Very annoying!  How do I stop this?

I called the 1-800 number for Macy's and got Boharnad or Yohinder over in India. He could NOT (or pretended to not be) able to even comprehend my phone number no matter how slowly I said it. The freaking 702 "Premeire Global computer tried to click in while I was talking to Stellar Stupid. I repeated my number 4 (that's right FOUR) times and he played stupid. I hung up. What a mess! I feel like the "Lawnmower Man" has been born in the phone system.

These guys are shady dealers and scammers and if you get a call from them file a 1088 Complaint with the FCC at https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do and if you are on the National Do Not Call List, file a Complaint at https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx.

If the government gets enough complaints from you, we can put these guys out of business.

Caller ID says Premiere Global. If I pick up, there is no answer, and the call is disconnected at their end. If I don't pick up, it rings 11 or 12 times. They have called three times in the last 40 minutes.

I too received a call recently from Macy's collections.  I've never had a Macy's card but had a Foley's card in college 15 years ago. (Macy's bought Foley's a few years ago.) Caller ID didn't show any number.  Woman said she was from a company called NCO which appears to be a legit collections company.  She admitted to me that they have no legal recourse but will just continue to call and harass until you pay what they believe to be an outstanding balance.

I know that Macy's is closing stores in some areas but are they really so desperate for money that they need to dig up 15 year old accounts?

Have gotten several calls over the past few weeks from this number - always in late evening or early morning (9 pm to 4 am).  Very annoying.  If you answer it, it just beeps.  Tried hooking it up to a fax to see what they were sending - no dice.  Called it back - message claimed it was a voice messaging system, and it gave the option to block my phone.  We'll see if it works

Caller ID said Premiere Global.  When I answered it was only beeps.  They called back again.  I did not answer.  The message only had beeps on it.

After receiving a dozen or more calls a night, all between 1-4AM, all with caller ID 702-366-0303, unable to call the number back as it had been disconnected, sick of getting fax tones in my ear ... I finally routed one of the calls through to a fax machine in our office.

This bogus number is apparently now bing used by CVS PHARMACY for its automated fax refill notification service for doctors. If they mistakenly get your number in their system as a doctor's fax number, then every time one of that doctor's patients is due for a refill, you will get a middle of the night fax call.

The fax we received had our number listed as the fax number of a doctor we'd never heard of. We called the pharmacy listed as originating the fax and gave them an earful. I'm hoping that will be the end of it and that they will update their system to properly identify itself in the future.
