received a call telling us that our debit card was being locked down.

Just received a phone call from 702-410-7802. I had the same problem. They mentioned my Washington Mutual debit card had been locked and to press "1" to be transferred to their security department. After I pressed "1" it rang once and hung up.

Just got the exact same call. Caller ID showed that it's from Las Vegas, NV. Definitely suspecious.

Phishing scam call telling me my Washington Mutual account has been blocked. I don't have a Washington Mutual account.

I got a phone call yesterday from this number on my cell phone, a few minutes after I hung up on the exact same call from a different number, 206--665-8757. Said my Washington Mutual debit card (which I do not have and Washington Mutual went belly up at the beginning of the recession a couple of years ago) was lost (or maybe "locked" the computer-generated voice is difficult to understand) and to Press 1 to reactivate For grins I pressed 1 on the second call to see where it took me. Then it asked me to press 1 to continue or press 2 to hang up, which I did.

I hope no charges show up on my cell phone bill for answering or pressing 1.

Weird. Smells like a scam. Wish they could be shut off.

It is a canned message - no one to talk to.  They called my phone a little after midnight!  Said they were Washington Mutual - they haven't even been in business for 2 years!

just got a call from this number but I did not answer it. The Area Code is in Las Vegas NV...sounds like a phishing scammer

My roommate got a call from 203-322-9876 at 1:23 am saying that her Master Card has been locked. At 1:43 am I received the call from 702-410-7802. We are both T-Mobile customers.

Same crap instead it was HSBC. Yeah phishing to see what numbers actually press 1. I tried hitting 0 and it just hung up.

Just got a call too saying my card was locked but I only have one debit card and it wasn't even from that bank. Glad I checked the number out first....and glad everyone else is writing too about the phishing job.

I got two calls today from this number saying my debit card is locked...  I went to the ATM machine and found that it was not locked.

WesBanco is a bank in West Virginia.  But obviously you received a scam. WesBanco is legit.

got a message saying my Mastercard was locked and the rest was all garbled

I received a call from this number several times. I did not answer. Recently my bank account had fraudulent activity.... ugh...Thank you for the info.
