FILE A COMPLAINT. I don't even bother answering these out of area calls. Everyone else here has already confirmed what I believed. This is a junk call. I have reported it to the FCC. You should do the same if we really want to end this. Go to http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

One of the best (and most enjoyable) ways to get these people off your back is to have a conversation like this:

Them: I'm calling about your vehicle warranty that's about to run out.
You:  Oh, ok.
Them: Would you like to extend your warranty?
You: Probably. Which vehicle are you calling about?
Them: The one that's older than 1998 (or whatever year they come up with).
You: OK, but which one are you calling about?
Them: Um, I think there are 10 out there.

You can almost here their dumbfoundness on the other end. When they figure out they've just been taken for a ride, they'll hang up and delete you from their call list.
