I called the number, and heard a message that identified the company as Precision Opinion, an opinion survey company.

This number called my sister looking for me by name. I've never been associated with her number. They did not leave a message or have a rebuttal.

The guy who called me asked similar questions, saying it was a survey about "quality of life" initiatives. First asked what state I live in and asked to speak to the youngest person in the house. I said that was me and he asked if I was in a place where I could "talk safely". He then asked if this was a phone just for personal calls. I said no as it is also my work phone and he finished the call with "that's all the questions I have for you." Weird. Smells like social engineering to me, asking to talk to the young people I'm a house to gain personal information to use for nefarious purposes.

Received a call from that number yesterday while driving. The caller wanted to conduct some kind of survey (she said something about politics and current events) but apparently she detected that I was in a vehicle and said that she could not talk to me while I am driving (even though I was on the phone hands-free), and that she would call back later. She or someone else from that number called back in about 15 minutes and I rejected the call. I later researched the phone number online and discovered that it belongs to a company named Precision Opinion. I also called the number from a different phone and listened to the company recording. I don't care if it is legitimate. I'm not taking their calls. I hate cold calls and they are not paying me for wasting my time.

How about these anti gun lobbies, these uneducated morons will use the the same underhanded ways as the same cumbags that try to cheat honest people out of their money, with one scam or another. WAKE UP AMERICA

I received a call from this number on Saturday and asked to be removed from their call list and told them to not call me back. Tonight they called again but this time the caller was very rude!  I explained that someone had already called and that I requested not to have any more calls and was supposed to be removed from the call list. The lady who called me said, "Well, your number popped up on my screen so obviously you never requested anything. I would explain this more but since you want to hang up in my face, I won't help."  I was so stunned by her response I told her to make sure that I was never called again, especially at dinner time, and that I did not owe her any information then hung up.

Caller asked for a specific person by name - even spelled it. I told her no such person at my number and she apologized and rang off.

I have gotten this call 2 times. I have an app on my phone called privacy star which at times will identify numbers i dont recognize. It can be set on to block unknown numbers and you can report the caller through the app and block the number. Well my app identified this caller. The company is called precision opinion marketing. I have a feeling it is an automated server (which unfortunately political robocalls are allowed under the fcc and ftc lists)  and can not be stopped by the dnc lists. But with the app you can still block the calls. Yes there is a fee for the app.

I never answer when I don't recognize the number...and then I look it up and see all the same scam info here... now you're blocked :)

I am so tired of these calls by, I assume, telemarketers.  Who regulates these calls??? It appears no one.

A data collection agency, or a research company. Either way they don't need my unlisted number and refuse to take me off their call list.

Have a loud whistle ready but only after they start talking.
They are VERY rude. Repeatedly calls and leaves no message. If you call back a recording says the survey is ended.
But they'll call again.  If you answer they have a long script to read that they are not selling anything and it's a survey.
But they will not answer your questions. They can't reveal what the survey is about until the end of the call.
So I told them to remove my number. The response was a curt and insincere "have a nice day" and then they hung up on me.

Number has called a couple times this past few weeks.  No messages are left.  Don't answer calls unless I know who they are.  If it's important, they will leave a message.

Dosent stop calling

They call everyday 6 to 8 times a day. Tired of their [***]!

It is best to blocked these MFs.
If doing so, problem can be solved.
There's a device that plugs into your regular house phone that blocks it or add it to the block option on that device.
If you have an iPhone or other smart phone that has it, use that option.
If you do not, you have to to your phone company to have that option added. You pay bcuz it becomes private.
Enjoy your own service carrier uses your service to scam you if you need additional service etc.
