I received a vmail from someone this evening but haven't called them back yet either.. basically stated she was calling about my website... I won't bother.

How did they scam you out of your money.  I just purchased with them.  Will they take my money and run?

They called looking for my boss. When I asked what it was in reference to she became very cryptic and then very rude, telling me she couldn't discuss the "personal business matter" with anyone but my boss or a partner. I explained I was the administrator and she wouldn't get past me without more information. She asked to leave a voice mail, which I refused and she hung up on me.

Yet another company who poses as a potential client.  Left a voicemail saying they wanted more information on our services.  When I called back they tried to sell me SEO.  So rude and tiresome to take time away from real clients to call these people back.  Grrrr

OMG!!! They just called me, too bad I just missed the call.. oh well!

a scam seo telemarketing company. mail them a letter and tell them to remove your number + information from their calling lists.

You must work for this company.

Stay away from this company. They also go by the names BDI, and USA SEO PROS. They are major scammers.

Why did you google this number and end on this site? Do you still work for this scam company?

Called me and had a question about my website. No way am I calling back. Thanks for everyone reporting this phone number.

These people are cold callers who want to market your business.  They call incessantly.  I have responded three times asking them to take my number out of their database.  They say they don't have one.  If they call me again I will find a way to prosecute.

I received a call from "Sandy" who said she was looking at my website and "had some questions".  Yeah, right!  The obvious tipoff was that she did not identify herself completely (no surname) nor did she say why she was calling (was she a potential client?  I don't think so;  a client would say why they were callin, dontcha think?).  You can bet I won't be calling her back;  she can sit and look at my website all day for all I care.  What a useless waste of my time!

anyone that has to "google" a number is a paranoide freak, and who cares everyone does have a job to do get over it, i think your weak and have no back bone if you ask someone to call you back keep your appointment, otherwise your no better than them.....grow up!

Got  this same call. They did not leave a message. I tracked the call on Google to this forum.

I had a voicemail from "Rosemary" who was calling "about my website".  I live in the UK!  Luckily there  was no reply when I called back a few times  (before I found this thread on a Google search), or I'd be paying a bill for an overseas call from an unwanted sales company.

To the people who suggest it's paranoid to Google a number: I naively believed she may have been a client. I am a wedding photographer who has photographed American brides in the UK before, so I was simply trying to get hold of her after she left a message.

Here's a tip from someone who's been doing search engine optimization for over ten years:  

No one who calls you out of the blue from another state promising to make your site "#1 on Google" is legitimate.  Same goes for emails making the same promise.  Proper SEO is time consuming and is not cheap.  Those of us who are good at it don't need to hire telemarketers to lie to prospects.

No, she's someone trying to make a dishonest living.

So nice to have this as a resource.  I wish telemarketers would perhaps consider posting a copy of that time zone chart so people don't call at inappropriate times.  Just a hint - Alaska is considerably earlier than the rest of the company, and I do not appreciate telephone calls at 7AM.
